Jackie and Steve hope you will find all the information you require to inspire you to join them for a memorable stay in their welcoming luxury guesthouse in St Austell. The Lookout Guesthouse is a bespoke architect designed house with spectacular panoramic views over St Austell Bay. We offer a boutique Garden Suite and two beautifully appointed luxury guest bedrooms (The Sea and The Cove). All rooms complete with superb large en-suites. We are situated 5 minutes from the Eden Project and close to many of Cornwall's major attractions. Breakfast is served in our unique octagonal breakfast room or during the summer months on our decking overlooking St Austell Bay. Begin your day with a choice of fruit juices, cereals, muesli, fruit compote and yoghurt whilst you await your freshly cooked English breakfast. Alternatively, you can always try one of our specials, for example; scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, or poached eggs on a toasted muffin. With a pot of freshly brewed tea or a cafetiere of ground coffee you will be set up for a full day exploring the delights of Cornwall! Our produce is locally sourced from quality suppliers. Where possible, we strive to use Fairtrade products. As Jackie is a coeliac, a gluten free menu is always available.

A warm, friendly welcome was followed by four days of exceptional hospitality. At breakfast every morning we were greeted by a personal message, on our table, followed by a delicious meal with gluten free choices. New to Cornwall we appreciated Jackie and Steve's local knowledge which helped us to make the most of our short stay. We hope to return soon and recommend "The Lookout" as the perfect guesthouse where every attention is paid to detail. Thank you Jackie and Steve!

Wow. The Lookout Guesthouse is so much more than a Bed & Breakfast and that is down to the owners Jackie and Steve. They have thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable. Lots of special little touches and so thoughtful. We stayed in the Garden Suite which was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Being a Coeliac this place delivered a fabulous breakfast cooked to perfection and great care taken to ensure it was completely gluten free and no danger of cross contamination. For those reading this review who do not need to avoid gluten this place has that covered too. Both Jackie and Steve are so warm and friendly that by the time we left they felt like friends. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and am so glad to have found it.

Jackie and Steve are excellent hosts, the room was very clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Breakfast was fantastic and set you up for the day. We would definitely recommend staying there, and we will be back again soon.

We had a lot of very useful information sent to us before our visit. We had a friendly welcome. Our room was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. Breakfast was great with a good menu. As a coeliac I was catered for very well.

Jackie and Steve are kind, caring, and generous hosts. Their home is quiet and comfortable, well situated, and has beautiful views of the surrounding area. A specifically great location for anyone visiting Eden Project or any of their Eden Session concerts.

We spent 3 days staying with Jackie & Steve at their lovely B&B. Our room, The Garden Suite, has it's own little garden patio. The bed was super comfortable, lovely spacious room. Good sized shower with fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers. Fresh flowers in the room were a nice personal touch and the complimentary toiletries smelt very nice. Excellent menu for breakfast, cooked to our tastes. Poached eggs and scrambled eggs were spot on, with very tasty bacon. Parking was ideally located to allow us to easily carry luggage to our room. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated that The Lookout is a pet and child free venue. Ideally situated on the outskirts of St Austell with superb views. Handy to dash off to local attractions. Hope to return soon.

Our stay at The Lookout was perfect in every way. Hosts Jackie and Steve paid so much attention to detail and comfort of our room . Our every need was catered for especially gluten free breakfast for husband Gordon. Jackie and Steve are so friendly giving plenty of advice on places to visit, where to park and to go for evening meal . We certainly would recommend The Lookout .

Jackie and Steve are the most glorious hosts one could ask for. They are very attentive and keep a beautiful accomodation in an ideal location. Rooms are extremely well maintained and done to a high standard. Breakfast, that is included, is brilliant. Home cooked by Steve and very aware of any dietary requirements. Will definitely try to visit again and would recommend in a heartbeat.

Jackie and Steve are the most incredible B&B hosts at the Lookout Guesthouse in St Austell. They were extremely welcoming and offered excellent advice on the best things to do in the area around. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable, alongside a large en suite bathroom. The breakfast in the morning is to die for with a range of breakfast cereals, fresh fruit or yoghurt whilst you wait for Steve's Cornish breakfast with eggs cooked in every way you can imagine. We will definitely return to the Lookout Guesthouse!!
