This was my first time to visit this park and as you drive in everything looks neat and tidy, a good first impression. The caravan was very comfortable and had everything you would need for your holiday. The staff were very helpful, and the little shop was useful for things like bread and milk etc. Would I come back here, without a doubt.

Alison & Paddy & their team are fab, nothing is too much trouble. They are friendly welcoming, kind & a move of information. The site is clean, in an excellent state of upkeep. The pool is lovely, enclosed so if its rainy, your can enjoy a swim, but if hot you can use the sun loungers too. They have visiting food vans, The Chip Van, The Kernow Pizza Company are the ones we've tried, good value freshly cooked in front of you & very tasty. We've been visiting in both static & touring pitches for years now. Such great value & we just keep coming back, can't find better any where else, so why change. So close to so much!

I stayed here with a friend whilst completing another section of the South West Coast Path. Paddy and Alison were welcoming and friendly. The site was immaculate as was the caravan. We were very well placed for Gorran Haven, Mevagissey, Pentewan, Porthpean, Charlestown and Par. We were also well served with the local buses to get from the caravan site to our start and return points on the coast path We also walked 2 miles of the Pentewan Valley Trail from Pentewan to the caravan park. The trail continues on to St Austell. A lovely stay and we both hope to return some time soon.

We have stayed at River Valley Holiday Park many times in their static homes. The sight is peaceful, well maintained, in a very handy area for all cornwall has to offer, eg the Eden Project, very dog friendly and the swimming pool is great. Absolutely spotless. Would highly recommend. Also recommend the farm shop at the end of the lane.lovely food.

Great site and some amazing walks from there, we didn’t use the swimming pool but the facilities was spotless. All staff very helpful and friendly. The only negative was having other people on the site not abiding by the rules ( dogs not on leads and able to wonder onto other peoples pitches). We will be retuning again next year.

Everything was perfect, as it has been when we have stayed in the past. We stayed in a static caravan for 6 with relatives, the van was great, spotlessly clean, everything we could possibly need, large fridge freezer, comfortable beds, two loos, shower room, and a tea and coffee tray to welcome us, with milk in the fidge! Alison and Paddy had also opened a coffee shop and deli just outside the site which was lovely and also had a buy just as much as you need section which was great as when you're on holiday, you don't need the big supermarket packs!

We stayed here in our tent as a family with 2 children. It is a lovely peaceful site, well maintained in an ideal location. The swimming pool was fantastic, the kids loved it and we often had it to ourselves! The zip wire was good but our kids struggled to pull it back and get on as it is quite high (maybe a piece of rope tied to the bottom would help). We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it for an extra couple of days. The only downside was the showers, water pressure was very intermittent and you had to keep your hand on the push start for it to run so showering one handed wasn't ideal. Also an air freshener in the loos wouldn't be a bad idea. Overall a great stay and we will definitely be back!

We have stayed many times at River Valley with our touring caravan. A wonderful family site. Clean, peaceful and a great pool. Plenty to do nearby. The Pentewan Valley cycle trail is great. I’d also recommend the Polgooth Inn for food nearby and Queenies for breakfast.

Can highly recommend this park as family with four children from primary into teens, we all loved it and will definitely visit again. Just enough to give all the kids something to do, with a lovely pool, zip wire and small shop allowing that first independent trip. We walked to Pentewan along the path and to the farm shop which was nice not having to get in the car for everything and having enough to do if we wanted to stay on the there. Not to big, not to small!!
