My wife and I had a 24 hour break in this wonderful hotel, so we experienced dinner, overnight, breakfast, and lunch. There was absolutely nothing we could fault. The staff are charming, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. The food is excellent, well deserving the awards received. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, and this one ranks among the tops.

Well, where can I start? We went to stay at the Talland Bay Hotel for five days over the Christmas period, together with our two dogs. From the very moment we arrived, until the moment we left, our stay was wonderful. All the staff bent over backwards to be helpful in the friendliest way possible. Whenever we dined or had breakfast, we felt we were taking part in 'Masterchef: the Professionals' programme. All food was exquisite. My husband has to eat gluten free; not once during our stay, from the first canapé when we arrived to the last breakfast, did either the chefs or the staff forget about this, without us ever having to say a word. Our dogs were made to feel very welcome and were fussed over; all staff are obviously dog friendly, and there were many people with dogs, all as well behaved as each other. There were plenty of people there without dogs, but I would say that if you really do not like dogs, this might not be the hotel to do and stay in. We were surprised by how young all staff were. In such an out-of-the-way location, it is proof how happy all the staff are, with their work and with each other. it feels like the management puts great importance on staff happiness, and it shows in everything they do. I cannot finish with a mention to the décor throughout the hotel. The lady in charge of this is obviously very artistic and innovative; a lot of humour shows in little touches everywhere. All in all, a time to remember (and we are seriously thinking of going back next year!) …

Once again just returned from another fantastic New Year break at the wonderful Talland Bay Hotel. Excellent accommodation, superb food, very attentive staff, who couldn’t do enough for you. Everything for the 3 day stay had been carefully considered and expertly delivered. Everyone was so friendly and it made a great end/start to 2022/2023.

Wow what a lovely find! Talland Bay Hotel is well hidden and was a very lucky find for us. The hotel rooms are individual and all of the decor is very quirky but beautifully done. The food was amazing - local produce well handled and the staff were really genuinely friendly and helpful. The chefs produced lovely canapés, amuse bouche, pre-deserts and petit fours as well as awesome three course dinners. Our room was stunning and had access direct out into the front lawn.

Firstly, the location and garden is absolutely stunning, a bit hidden down a small lane but the views over the garden down to the sea are stunning. All of the decoration (inside and outside, including the room) is just the right amount of quirky. The staff was very attentive, always ready to help. A special mention for the delicious food that we had all weekend! Overall Talland Bay Hotel is well worth 5 stars and a recommendation.

What an unbelievable venue for a wedding! Stunning coastal views and a handy beach nearby, dog friendly (more than friendly - after indulging in a sausage breakfast he got up on the sofa and refused to budge) and a wonderful relaxed feel within what can only be considered 5* surroundings. The organisation and service by staff is unmatched, the food was out of this world and I can safely say that the bride and groom could not have dreamed of more. I have previously visited for 'mere' food and drinks and was no less impressed. Always a pleasure to visit and something to look forward to.

Amazing staff, hotel and location! I was best man for a wedding held in the Talland Bay Hotel and the experience couldn't have been any better! Staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and full of quirky furniture. The sea views from the hotel were totally amazing too.

We stay at Talland Bay Hotel for 3 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great, the Sunday roast was delicious but more importantly the staff were all amazing. So friendly, helpful and happy to go the extra mile. The decor is quirky and fun, we loved exploring the gardens and little trails and of course the view is just incredible. We had our wedding at Talland Bay Hotel, it was so easy to have the ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception /disco all in one venue. The staff were all amazing, working very hard throughout and all of our guests commented on how lovely the hotel was and the weekend as a whole. Thank you so much to Jack and Kyra for a very special day.
