We went here for a oil bath as a novelty. The staff did their utmost to fit this into our tight schedule. The Spa facility looks great and the staff is really friendly. Both breakfast and dinner are buffets with a good selection with lots of fresh and heathy options.
The rooms are massive so book club room for good price, all meals included, the treatments are nice. I practised my russian because the staff don’t speak english Food buffets were nicely prepared:the chef always came to check the quality,a lot choice all fresh and tastefull The road to the resorts from main highway is not properly signed and also not the best quality and make sure you drive 60km/h
This hotel is near nothing yet it has security lik e the Kremlin. Upon checking in (no. English available) you are delayed while they talk and talk about nothing - there was one of me and five of them. In Azerbaijan you are allowed entry with a passport and visa - if you get in then you are clear to travel the country. Your first hotel will register you with immigration if your stay is more than fifteen days. Thereafter, any hotel can go online and quickly check you out - not this hotel - they are incapable of doing that so they jerk you around at check in until you threaten to go somewhere else. Maybe this is why they were virtually empty, I am told that I can only have dinner at 7:30 - 8:30 and I had a very late lunch so I ask if I can go later or simply grab a couple of sweets to take to my room to eat later - answer no so I skip it. I get to nonsmoking room and there is an ashtray there and stale smoke smell. Bathroom smells like mold - I look at the shower base and there is black mold. I turn on the shower to use it and it leaks on the bathroom floor. By the way the bathroom is huge but the shower tiny. Weak internet, can’t process a credit card (they blame it on Azerbaijan so I remind them that i have used my cards all over the country with no problem) - no answer. They built a beautiful building - now they need to staff it with trained, motivated staff or they are just one star. I have stayed in all classes of hotels on this trip - this has the nicest building but the worst overall rating - stay somewhere else.…
Was here with family for a week. Located in Naftalan, a 3.5 hour ride from Baku. Named after nearby Garabag region of Azerbaijan, currently occupied by Armenian military forces. The territory of a hotel is huge, it has amazing pine trees, walking paths and grass areas. Perfect if you like making picnics and outdoor activities. There are tennis, volleyball, basketball, mini-golf facilities, children playground, all equipment is freely available at reception. There is outdoor and indoor pool. Indoor pool has hydro-massage function, you gotta try this! There are a lot of foreign guests here, I met people from Russia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Europe. Rooms are great, modern, with no issues. If you select deluxe room, you will get extra space. It is good a option if you have small children. There is a balcony with a great view. You get free food 3 times a day here. Various selections of meals and additions, good that there are no tea bags here, you make your own tea. Quality of food was nice, no concerns. Personnel is friendly and quite professional. Many know some Russian. The animator girl is very active and has some activities for children and games for adults as well (as mafia, loto). The spa is also good. I tried massage, electro-therapy and oil applications. No concerns, everything was timely and delivered with quality. Price tag is also very adequate, but better select a weekly package. As summary, very recommended!…
Stayed for 1 night. It is a spa and resort hotel for those who need or want oil treatment. The room was big, clean with good forrest views. Attached bathrooms are big with no tub but a shower. Nice clean. Toiletries are OK. There was a cooler with 1.5 liter free water bottle. Hardly anyone speaks English even at the reception. Breakfast was average with no fresh made to order section. All in all good for 1 night as nothing to do in this city. Their oil treatments are expensive they gave a price of 1 time treatment at 180 manat which is roughly U$100.
The hotel is modern with very good decorations in the lobby and around. Rooms are comfortable. The only problem was that the room we got was on the 2nd floor and facing the pool. The 2 night we spend there it was very noisy due to the music been played near the pool and even at 22:00 night they did not stop even we called a few times, it was impossible to sleep. On the other side the food was very good, with self service and very different types of food. Also breakfast was good and abundant.
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Everything was just amazing: location, service, personnel and FOOD💔 The chef is great, big thanks to him. All the team in restaurant is so welcoming and kind, hi to Hamids🙎🏻♂️🙎🏻♂️🙋🏻♀️. I can’t judge the medical treatment as I don’t have another experience with sanatoriums, but my husband felt improvements and i hope they do really help, i think if you are going for medical purpose you need longer stay...🤷🏻♀️we stayed for a week,it was pretty enough for us to relax. I am not super pleased with head doctor’s attention to me ( but I didn’t have any health issues so I skipped this part easily), and instead of seaweed bath the lady put for me some rose essence (whatever... I don’t think one bath will change my life), and when i needed help of female there was any available and man had to help me with procedures ( they are not very intimate but my husband was not happiest after that) BUT these points are not blacking out the whole nice being there and i kept quite as still everyone was very helpful👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 P.S. we really needed kids pool, the real separated kid pool with warmer water🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼please, build one🙏🏼and pancakes are just heavenly good🤪…
Excellent location and resort for family travelers. Nice facilities, amazing staff and entertainment. Health procedures with Naftalan is cool. All inclusive and price is OK. Big open pool and rooms are quite and with latest technology
بكل جداره تستحق المدينه والفندق خاصه ان يسمى فندق الراحه والاستجمام أسعاره جدا ممتازة مع الخدمة المقدمة مع توفر ثلاث وجبات مجانيه It is a great resort and SPA, I could say you get value more than money paid, we spent 3 days with my friends and truly enjoyed it
This hotel is all-inclusive and the price is so affordable. We stayed for 2 nights and got a nice clean room with the garden view. The balcony is big and the garden is lush and beautiful. The all-inclusive meals was great and have a lot of choices. We will definitely stay in this hotel again if we visit Naftalan.
