We went to the club house for a drink.
New bartender charged me $19.00 for a Margaretta. Was it GREAT it was mix and a shot of tequila??? WTF???
Way to pricey for the average guy/gal.
They have crossed over to executive resort.
Money is better spent elsewhere. The food and drinks are Applebee's level.
Hmmm Applebee's 😁😁

Skiing is CLOSED-forever, quite possibly. Residents have been waiting over a year for updates, but the residents who run the “Residents Association” and the owners of the “resort,” Double Diamond, hide facts, schedule meetings at odd times so many can’t attend, and take away the rights of residents-including telling us we can’t rent our homes out. You can stay at the hotel, and pay to use the lake (you need wristbands and it gets very crowded on holidays), the cold indoor pool, the often dirty fitness center...in winter, you can tube -not ski-one one tiny hill...and there is very little to offer in the area outside the “resort.” Go to the Poconos or down the shore.

The lodge is a nice and quiet place to stay. the staff is friendly and helpful. But the Clubhouse restaurant is price and the food do not worth that price. too big and easily get lost. need more signs. but the hotel view is nice.

My family used our newly purchased timeshare interest in the Sugarloaf timeshare in June, just to get back together with the family in the middle of the virus. I had to go up first, and checked in to one of the units. The unit was gross, dirty carpeting, stained couches, nothing at all like the unit we were shown when we bought the timeshare. I went back to the lodge (where you have to check in) and was told there were no other units available. Mind you, the parking lot was empty. I called my salesperson, who was able to move me to another units, also bad. I called him again and he managed to get me into the sales unit. The unit was cleaner but again the carpeting was dirty. But it was clear that was as good as it was going to get. Then a day into the stay, the washer did not work. My daughter had a newborn so we had laundry. Turns out the washer needed to be replaced which took 3 days. As much as I expressed my concern about having just bought this timeshare, no one really did anything about it. So for the week we stayed there, we noticed workers using another unit to gather for lunch and breaks and someone that moved into the unit below us liked to shoot their air rifle off the deck. Which reminds me, the deck on our unit was not at all inviting, besides being too small, it was full of spiders and cobwebs. The restaurant (only one open, which under the circumstances I can understand) was ok. The golf course was great. The lake with the beach was also well attended to. The maintenance in the Sugarloaf units was poor at best. I have yet to hear from any member of the real estate company who runs the place despite my complaints. Also, if you are interested in buying here, the closest “city” is Hazleton which is about 5 miles away. You have to go there to do any sort of shopping. It’s also a city you should google before going there. Beware.

Went with my husband. We stayed at the lodge and it was beautiful. There are amazing views there. The room was nice and well kept. We ate at the Clubhouse for a breakfast and a dinner and enjoyed both meals. We spend one day at one of the outdoor pools and another day spend some time at the "beach". We loved it.

Eagle Rock resort is a mistake. They are just after your money and will not work with you in times you failed due to hardship. Customer Service Manager does not have compassion, and flexibility but through their advantage. I regret buying a property here.

This was my first time visiting Eagle Rock Resort and the Hazleton area. The resort is massive, it appears to have mix-use property (single family and townhouses). All of the wedding festivities took place at the resort, welcome bbq, the wedding and reception, and the post wedding brunch. If you are looking for a wedding venue, I definitely recommend this place. Amazing cocktail hour and the we are still talking about the dessert table.

what do I do with trash/garbage when i leave?
Answer from tony c

If you a house owner with a house. You should have access to the garbage disposal site. If you're a guest there. You can leave it in the room. Or on the first floor stairwells, there are big garbage cans. Where you can dispose of it
