We stayed here for two nights in early September for a hockey tournament. The good thing is that the room and hotel were updated and modern. The bad news is that the room was super loud. I echo what others have said—-be sure to request a room with an even number. I had to go down to reception to get ear plugs as the highway was so loud. In addition, no service at the front desk. Restaurant recommendations, where to take a quick run, free upgrade as Bonvoy Gold Elite, eh, not so much. They were kind enough to give me sheets for the trundle bed. But I would stay elsewhere in the future. Also, the shower door leaked a lot of water onto the floor as the door did not close properly.
We stayed here on a girls road trip to Hershey. The one and only positive thing I can say is that the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late after driving from Michigan. I went directly to the room and was pulling back the bedspreads and saw what appeared to be blood on the sheets. I called the front desk and she apologized and said we could move to the room next door. We did so and when taking showers the tub did not drain. By the time we got to the last shower, the water was near the top of the tub so we had to go back to the first room for the last person to shower. I highly doubt there was anyone at that time of night to fix the drain problem when there obviously was not even anyone properly cleaning the rooms. I called the admin office of Springhill only to be told they would add points to my membership. I questioned what would that do to the other 2 people who were sharing the cost. She suggested I contact the local number. I was told by them that they would add points and that we already had a good price on the room for the night. I am highly disappointed in that location and the response from both offices. I would NEVER stay there again.…
I should have read the reviews prior to booking this room for Hershey Park. To start the room was not very clean. Secondly, the "included" breakfast is from 7:30-9:30, the lady at the front desk told us it was till 10:00 am so when we went down at 9:30 there was nothing left. I asked the gentlemen for anything they had leftover and they had some cardboard bagels, yogurt and fruit. The pool was not open. Needless to say I will be returning to my cheaper and cleaner hotel in Hummelstown, PA for my next Hershey trip.
Our baseball team had to stay here (stay to play tournamanet) - very disappointed in the pool area, very small. No hot breakfast, just an apple, granola bar and some sort of muffin with water. The rooms were clean, but lots wrong. Out bathroom door woudln't stay closed (heard this from many families in our team) - shower wouldn't work properly - if at all, deadbolt on door didn't work till it was time to leave for a game and it wouldn't shut, making me late. The size of the room was nice and the staff were nice (but didn't know much).
The room was clean but that was about it. When we checked in we only had one bath towel in our room. There was WiFi but the WiFi features on our TV did not work. Although the hotel offers a hot breakfast this was not the case. They offered a bagged meal with an apple and muffin. We booked it because we specifically wanted the hot breakfast. Another issue was about half the lights in our room didn’t work and the AC was inconsistent.
