I had such a great and truly memorable stay at Spencer House Bed and Breakfast. The interior is stunning and Steve and Lisa gave me a tour and told me about the history of the house. They are wonderful hosts! I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Erie!

My husband and I stayed here for the first time and it won’t be our last. Steve and Lisa were wonderful hosts. They served a delicious breakfast each day and offered great advice on things to do in the area since it was our first time visiting. The room was clean and comfortable; the home is absolutely beautiful.

Start your visit with a wonderful welcome by owners Steve and Lisa. They provide a tour and history of this beautiful mansion. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and has off street parking. The room is absolutely gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. The common areas (living room, library, porch, etc...), are also very tidy, peaceful and clean Top off a quiet night of restful bliss with a spectacular breakfast. When we're in Erie, there's no doubt where we'll be staying. Thank you Steve and Lisa for a fabulous stay!

Spencer House is an amazing property with an interesting history. Adequate parking behind the house and a good location close to downtown, but not too close. Easy road access to Presque Isle. Hosts are attentive, give a good orientation to your stay, and prepare a great breakfast. Comfortable rooms, with the right amount of Victorian charm. Will stay there again.

The house itself was immaculate. Steve and Lisa(innkeepers) were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good and plenty of it. We stayed in the Presidential Suite. The room is much grander the the online picture shows. The room was comfy and homey. Great stay. Will stay here again with a return to Erie.

My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B. This was a Christmas present from my son. The history of the house and the past that has been stored is amazing. The room we had was like I was at my Grandmother's House. Breakfast was home cooked. Delicious. Steve gave us a couple ideas on where to have dinner. I will stay there again.

The Spencer home is a museum of fine woodworking craftsmanship from the 1800's. They do not make them like this anymore. The parking in rear is a nice touch, to stay off the street. Each floor has a relaxing common sitting area with soft drinks and water in a 'fridge, as well as hot drinks. Many of their items have their logo on them, adding a nice professional touch. The two rooms on the first floor are also like home, with antiques and comfort; the library and the living room. There is a very nice large front porch to lounge on. The property is non-smoking, and very clean. The breakfast is delicious, home cooked, and a choice of 8 or 9am sittings. The Spencer House has a Christian theme with wood biblical engravings, and Steve and Lisa are willing to share their story. They are great hosts, and went out of there way to spend time with us. They love their work, and it shows. This is a special experience; one of the two top B&B's we've stayed in.
