I meant to book for the next night, but accidentally booked the same night. When I realized this, I canceled it within an hour of booking (it was already 8 or 9pm also) and called expedia to get a refund. They said the owner was "sticking to the policies" and couldn't help. I called the motel and got the run around basically. The owner is refusing to refund me, even though he lost NO BUSINESS due to my mistake. I am a student without an income currently and that $90 gone is huge. What a slimy way to run a business and terrible way to be a human. Zero compassion, only cares about making a buck. Hard to even express how upset this makes me.

We booked this sight unseen from the road on our way into town. Huge mistake. When we rolled in, there were several creepy people hanging out in front of some rooms. One of the guys came into the office when I was checking in and the guy at the desk called someone to let her know that her customer was ready for her in the office. Some drunk girl was screaming about people ruining her 21st birthday off and on all night. There was some altercation outside our room in the morning and two cop cars in the lot when we quickly got out as soon as we could that morning. I’ve stayed in some pretty raunchy places all over the world to save a buck, but this one ranks high on the total crap hole scale. Do not stay here!

Okay so first let me start off by saying soon as you walk in you instantly regret booking this hotel. We booked this because it was close to beach. When you walk in you in you see wrinkled curtains, marks all over the walls, patches of paint on the ceiling, the head boards on beds on lose and gross with marks all over, the beds have stained sheets, lamps have holes in lamp shades with holes in them, I found a nail on the floor that 1 of my 3 kids found, the furniture was marked and old looking, fitted sheet on bed didn't fit nothing looked cleaned, there was no soap or shampoo in bathroom so bring your own everything because they do not offer any kind of any simple amenity to you at all. I am glad I brought lysol with me because I had to reclean the entire room to feel comfortable to allow my kids to stay in it. The online pictures are NOT how the hotel looks at all NOT how the front desk area looks and NOT how anything in this hotel looks like at all. Very misleading. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE FARTHER . I don't know if they just bought this place but they have a lot learn. You were lucky if you even had hot water to get a shower in. And they didn't even give you towel that were normal size to use in bathroom they gave you hand towels. Word of advice to management, provide hand soap in bathroom, provide normal size bathroom towels, clean behind and under the beds because people check ( I did they were disgusting) , get fitted sheets that fit your beds, iron your curtains they look awful with wrinkles, get new furniture, don't put a refrigerator in a room that is wobbly and rusty , and wipe off your furniture with proper cleaning supplies because its clear you don't. You are missing the mark on simple customer service tips and amenities and seems your using covid as an excuse to just be lazy. Your front desk area looks terrible and none of you were friendly or welcoming. I will not be recommending your hotel. Your hotel is not clean or worth the money your charge. Thank you

The Motel has a Good location (Why we booked) but it is Very Poorly managed! The Motel is VERY DIRTY! The floors will Literally turn your feet Black! Jet Black! Filthy! The pool was Green and the pavilion furniture is all broken. The Only ice Machine on property is Out of Order. Grass needed cut And Trimmed. There is a bunch of Old steel piping laying on ground in front of pool you Literally have to Step Over! And there’s a broken down mini van in the yard by the pool with grass growing up around it! The place is a complete joke! There is One guy who basically does all positions and One Maybe 2 housekeepers who apparently don’t clean very well! The Remote didn’t work at check in so I told the “Manager/front desk/ maintenance man/ Laundry attendant and he Actually said try pointing it at the Side of the tv!?! Lol I said I Did, he said try again so I walked all the way back to the room then Back to the Where he was Sitting outside to tell him it Still didn’t work at That point he got me a remote that worked! I’m a mngr at a hotel and can Assure you if my staff performed this way they would not work for me anymore… plenty of places to stay in Erie, pick a different one.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL!!! They are SCAMMERS!!!!!! They stole over $100 off of me. The day we checked in we sat down, unpacked, and turned the tv on and noticed it had a line going through it. We immediately took a picture which dated 3:57 and check in is at 4pm so this was AS SOON as we got in. Later that night we tried to use the microwave and it had old food sitting inside of it and the tray was missing so we couldn’t even use it. The next morning my fiancé went up to the front desk to notify them of the tv and microwave and we were told that they are aware of the tv and we were only given an apology for the microwave (so the whole stay we were unable to use the microwave). On day of check out they called us and asked about the tv and we explained that we already talked to them about it. They said they would call us back if there was any issues. Never got a call back but I was charged over $100 from them. When I called they said if I can send the picture of proof of the broken tv to them then they will refund me. I sent it over immediately and their story then changed again that they cannot give a refund right now it would have to be reviewed by their boss who they say WILL NOT speak to anybody. The front desk will not get me in contact with no manager or owner. We were also 1 of only 2 families staying at the motel at this time so what are the odds of putting us into this dirty room with a broken tv? Seems like it was all a set up from the beginning. These people are awful and they will scam you so please avoid them at ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!

This by far the worst place I have ever stayed. It was filthy, felt unsafe and the staff couldn't care less. DO NOT read the booking.com reviews like we did. Read the Hotels.com and Travelocity reviews. We booked this place because it was a last moment thing and was the only one available on such short notice that had an outdoor pool. The pool was literally the only acceptable thing about it. Over a hundred dollars a night for a place that should being paying you to stay there like fear factor or something. The best word I could use to describe it would be SLEAZY. First, when we pulled in, the place looked nothing like the pictures. The outside was overrun by tall weeds surrounding everything and just looked generally neglected. The entry doors to everyroom looked like somebody got the idea to paint them one day and just gave up half way through. You felt unsafe coming and going. The only nice thing outside was the pool. It had a little sand in the bottom and was also surrounded by huge weeds but the pool itself honestly wasn't bad. The downside of the pool, though, was the view of the trailer onsite and the horrible smell of the dumpster that came over every time the wind blew. Checking in, the lobby was small and kind of unkept but not bad. The front desk guy clearly did not care in the least bit...about anything. The outside, though, was gorgeous compared to the inside of the room. We were immediately greeted with the smell of chew spit (and there was something that looked a lot like chew spit) all over the inside of the fridge. The door's deadbolt did not lock. Only the door knob lock worked and the knob was very loose, which was a great feeling since the creepy staff members and guests were always outside watching you and up late partying very loudly. The door that joins to the next room DID NOT LOCK. The deadbolt was literally missing and there was just a hole. I went to the front desk to ask them about that and the non-existent microwave that they said was included and all he did was say that they do not give any refunds and promise that they would not let anybody check into the room beside us. So, again, really a nice safe feeling there. The floors were so filthy that my wife scrubbed them with cleaner and an entire roll of paper towels and our feet were still always black from walking on them afterwards. There was for some reason a big office swivel chair but no desk or table of any kind. There was a filthy stained couch and the bed consisted of two mattresses on a metal frame with a head board that was not connected and was just leaning against the wall. The furniture was very old and dirtly. The positiives were that the bedsheets did seem clean and the tv and cable were nice. Also, the renovated bathroom wasn't bad except that the sink moved apart from the wall and the water was scalding hot as soon as you turned it on. In closing, if you are looking for a filthy place with terrible service that offers no refunds, smells like chew spit and gives you a constant fear that you are going to be robbed or stabbed this is your place.

False advertising! Rooms are nothing compare to pictures they show online. Outside of the hotel is creepy & ghetto, walls are paper thin I could hear people next door having a party. Staff is ghetto and rude. Asked for a refund as I didn’t feel safe with my little girl, but manager refuse and was super haughty. I never leave a bad review but this place certainly deserved it! Only good this was the flat screen and the new floor in the room.

This is my 2nd time back and as usual The staff and management were very helpful and polite. Also I'm glad they took this step of making the motel rooms great again. the remodeled rooms now have hardwood floors and the bathrooms are amazing(especially the over size shower head)! I will be back again later this year with my whole family!
