Previously called Days Inn, the new and even better Mainstreet Inn is in historic Doylestown and near New Hope area attractions. Located in the heart of Doylestown, we are just minutes from everything you want to see in the area. We have a restaurant with a bar on the property which has a Comedy Cabaret Friday and Saturday evenings. We are on the main bus route, minutes from the train station and right down the road from the center of town. We always supply maps, attraction guides and plenty of information about the area. We try to make your stay away from home as comfortable as possible. We are a two story exterior access hotel. Plenty of free parking and Wi Fi as well as Free DayBreak Breakfast.

Needed room urgently, they had one left. Nothing posh but beds v comfy, aircon worked, bathroom clean. Staff really friendly & helpful. Right next to Pocos Mexican Diner. On regular bus route. Two shopping malls just over the road. Motel so plenty of parking. Has all you need & nothing you don't.

GOT BED BUGS AFTER PAYING $125 a night for this room. Also the skeleton girl that works at the desk is the rudest little girl I ever met. RUN DON’T WALK FROM HERE! This guy is nuts what he charged. Go down to the other hotels along 611 same price no bed bugs

Our room was clean. It is an old place. The hallways to the rooms are all outside, which they need to be cleaned. There is no breakfast. We went to a restaurant named Aunt Judy's. If in the area, I would recommend you eat there. It was a great meal at a reasonable price. The staff there are very friendly. Overall I am not sure I would stay here again.

People were nice and restaurant was great, but room was pretty crummy for $160! Not fresh, TV didn't work, Wifi didn't work for me, did for my sister, only 2 bath towels, little counter space, crowded..Was pretty surprised how expensive it was for a substandard room.

Room 349 at the two story Main Street Inn was exactly as advertised...the office staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms all had exterior entrances, the wifi was actually excellent, the bed linens were crisp and clean (we inspected all because of the review indicating otherwise) and the king bed was comfortable. The room was quiet and we slept soundly although we did run the A/C fan. The Inn is a “typical” motel, older style obviously being updated. We picked it for its location...we easily walked to Fonthill Castle and Moravian Tileworks, to the Cross Keys Diner, the Mercer Museum, and farther afield to the West State Street restaurant area. There are a lot of nearby places to enjoy a meal and a drink nearby, and actually - the Mexican American restaurant attached to the Inn looked inviting and was busy. We walked everywhere we went. Breakfast was very simple — yogurt, cereal, bagels and English muffins, microwaveable sandwiches, juice, milk, coffee, tea, and some fresh fruit. We would stay here again...the basics work great for a good night’s sleep.

The only positive thing I can say is that the manager Joe was kind and helpful~ unfortunately it ends at that !! Check in was easy but they copied my DR License and AAA card. Why I don't understand but we complied with the request. The room was a wreck, stained sheets, pillows, blanket and lucky for me I bring my own sheets just for that reason. The tv was not working properly and shut off and couldn't be adjusted without another remote and it still shut off. The bathroom was also filthy, wall tiles were missing and the shower looked like the wall would be falling off any minute, the bathroom back splash had snot on it which made it totally disgusting. Half of the rooms were supposed to be remodeled but they were sabotaged and empty. This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The evening staff was kind but lacked any knowledge of the property at all. Even the mini fridge didn't work well.Checked out and ran...Beware this property is a disaster.

The Mainstreet Inn website advertises free Wi-Fi. I made sure of this because I had an important project due that I needed to work on. My room was on the same side of the office, second floor, about 5 doors down...maybe 150 feet away, and we couldn't access their "Free Wi-Fi." I reserved a king size bed and paid $152 dollars for one night. We did not get a kimg size bed, instead, we were given 2 uncomfortable twin beds. When I asked about it they told me the had overbooked. I didn't get an appology of any kind, probably because the front desk clerks are very young and there isn't a supervisor to talk to. While I was in the office asking about the Wi-Fi, there were several receipts laying around with totals far less than the $152 I paid. When I asked the front desk clerk why my rate was so much higher, he told me that they probably had AAA Discount. I then explained that I have AAA, and there wasn't any discount offered for that day (maybe because it was Memorial Day Weekend.) He then switched it up to an Expedia discount, and I told him that I checked every single travel website, which I did, and there wasn't any discounts available. I even called the motel to ask about prices the day I made the reservation. The front desk clerk asked me what the website said, I told him $152, and he said that was correct. For that amount of money, I expect the Wi-Fi to work and I expect the room that I reserved. I didn't get either and like I said above, no apology at all. I wrote a extended email to the motel, hoping that an owner or supervisor would get it and respond as if they cared about me as a customer, but I've gotten no response. It has been close to a week now, and I imagine that the same front desk clerks that didn't care about my complaints when I was there, intercepted the email. I even wrote that I would be including their response in my reviews, but no one there cares if I return. We go to Doylestown several times a year and spend a night or two, but because of the lack of interest in acknowledging my complaints, we will not be staying at the Mainstreet Inn.

The hotel apologizes for the issues with the internet. Our equipment was destroyed due to a storm. We were trying to establish a game plan to redo the internet. I am sorry for your disappointing stay. We have since obtained a whole new internet system. Once again, we do care and apologize for a late reply.

My wife and I stayed one night and both of us thought that the room was very clean with comfortable beds. Located close to anything you might want to see or do on town. This property was formerly a Days Inn and still had a lot of branding both inside and outside of the rooms. Kind of pricey for what it is.
