We were treated like royalty during our stay. The grounds were immaculate as were the rooms. The area is rolling farmland with lots of stone houses and barns. We highly recommend and will be back. We ate at the Pointe Phillips Hotel and enjoyed it immensely.

We attended a wedding at Woodstone Country Club and stayed the evening at the Filbert Bed and Breakfast. Kathy was very accommodating in allowing us to register early in order to attend the wedding. Our room was very comfortable. The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast which consisted of an omelette, potatoes, bacon and coffee and tea. The food was farm to table. Everything was very fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend the Filbert BnB.

The place has no privacy at all. I felt like walking on eggshells. Was not even able to talk with my wife. Not able to walk comfortable the wood floors make a lot of noise. Breakfast only french toast and sausage and tea or coffee. The iron bed is making so much noise hitting the walls even when you turn over. The TV receiver in the room was not working. We texted her that we are leaving because its not comfortable, she didnt even bother to reply. I gave her cash 360 was total. She had to give me 8 back she said she will give in the morning but she did not even talk about it. I did not mind about that 8 dollars but now that i was bothered of that place i wanted to say this. I paid for 2 night. I didnt stay for the second night because it was so uncomfortable. We bought some lunch. She was telling us that we should eat in the dinning room. We were not comfortable in the room at all that she didnt even want us to eat in the room. She was talking nice thats why i did not say anything to her. Whoever considers to stay here should know anything you speak in the room (even quietly) that will be heard by the next rooms which are one on the right another in the left. Any step you take in the room will make noise, perhaps adding carpets would help. …

We stayed here while attending a family gathering in the Poconos. It was a great escape. The house is beautifully decorated, every detail. The room was also beautifully decorated, but still incredibly comfortable (what a nice bed, ahhh!!!!). The breakfast was delicious, a perfect start to the day.

While hiking the Appalachian Trail in this area, I had the pleasure of staying two nights at Filbert. The home and property are unique and very nice. My room was spacious, the bathroom was large and nice, and everything was very clean. Kathy is an outsanding cook and the breakfast's were excellent (many items home-grown on her farm). For hikers, Kathy is very helpful and has it figured out. She shuttled me from the trail as well as nearby gaps so that I could slack-pack. She offers laundry service and stopped in town for me to make purchases. I have hiked 1300 miles of the AT and this is my best stay yet. Thank you Kathy!

The historic Filbert B&B is a very attractive inn that is near outdoor attractions as well as historic Bethlehem. Kathy, the owner couldn't be nicer and the breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Our room was cozy as was the entire home.

What a great weekend!! Our friends and my husband and I, rode our motorcycles up for a weekend getaway. It was fall fest weekend at Jim Thorpe. We pulled in to the B&B and were immediately greeted by Kathy. Her introduction set the tone for the whole weekend. She was so friendly and kind. She was helpful in directing us to the local places to visit. Breakfast was delish!! The rooms are very clean and decorated well. We will be back soon!

We stayed there a few weeks ago for our wedding anniversary. The innkeeper was a sweetheart, and has the best tips about the area and things to do. Breakfast was amazing, everything is super fresh, straight from the farm, it doesn't get better than that. She even has little snacks in the guest kitchen for you when you get those late night cravings. The room was spacious and perfect. We'd recommend it to a friend and we would stay there again, the location is close to so many things, you definitely have to drive, but it's still very close. Make sure you go into Bethlehem & eat at the Apollo Grill, best food we've had in a long time, delicious and not expensive.

A treasure of an historic B&B. Close to Blue Mountain, my spouse and I had a wonderful snowy ski weekend with Kathy at the Filbert B&B. The restoration of this Victorian farmhouse will take you back in time with hospitality to match. Beautifully appointed room (Lee Herman). Looking forward to a return visit.

My boyfriend treated me to a birthday weekend here a few weeks ago. We were blown away! We were greeted at the door by Kathy and Sue. They are so welcoming and friendly. We got the tour and went to our room. They have different rooms here. Much like a quaint adorable house. You really feel at home. For my birthday, my boyfriend requested flowers and a wine and cheese tray. It was gorgeous! The tray was more like a basket and had lots of goodies, including a bottle of wine and two glasses. The flowers were gorgeous too and sat on the electric fireplace in the room. The whole place had Victorian decor and was way too cute for words! The main dining pallor and common space were decorated for Christmas and again it was gorgeous. The owner, Kathy served us a fantastic, elegant breakfast complete with eggs from her farm homestead, bacon from her brothers farm and muffins she made that morning. I felt like a princess here. We wished we booked more nights there but we will when we visit again. I can't say enough about Filbert Bed & Breakfast. If you want quaint, quiet, romantic and great service this is the place for you!…
