Sorry to say The Blakeslee Inn closed in 2016 after a major fire destroyed the restaurant. We were so sorry to see the news as we enjoyed many wonderful dinners at the Inn. We also stayed at the Inn and their rooms were much larger than the average hotel room, and very comfortable, and the staff were always so welcoming.
We stayed the night here after having dinner with friends. Clean, affordable room, friendly helpful folks. They gave us a nice local place for lunch and they were spot on. We stopped at the pub after dinner for a night cap, it was very nice, very friendly servers and great desert that my girlfriend had. I would recommend this Inn to my friends.
Reasonable prices. Had the crab eggs benedict. Very well executed.Date had an omelet. Very big and tasty. Nice location. Service was excellent. Not a lot of really good choices in the area. This, one is worth exploring.
Well Thanksgiving is over and it was wonderful. The Grand Buffet at the Blakeslee Inn was “Grand”. The two turkeys and the beef were fantastic. The sides were delicious, and the seafood fresh and tasty. The time with family at the Inn is always time well spent. The crew at the Inn were great, Mike, Chef Mullin, Bruce and the rest are attentive as usual. Thanks for working on your Thanksgiving to ensure we have a wonderful meal.
Stayed here twice. Both times for Racing Experience on Columbus day weekends. Rooms are clean, roomy, and comfortable. Reasonable rates especially for the room with the kitchenette. Great place for a quick getaway! Restaurant is very nice...really like the bar area...great service and food is good.
