Thoroughly enjoyed. Spacious suite. Clean, updated, quiet. Great complementary hot breakfast, two drink complimentary happy hour. Very pleasant staff. Staying again in a week for the flight home. Highly recommend as an airport hotel. As nice as any you will find.

Great airport shuttle also takes you to nearby outlet center with lots of restaurants. Rooms are quiet. Big wedding going on placed was packed however service was fast, evening reception very nice this ES actually makes cocktails in a real glass and not cheap booze dumped in plastic cup like others I've stayed at, nice work out area and pool opens early.
Breakfast opens right on time, really friendly staff in there, get the omelette nice job serving big crowd with no excuses. Had dinner in restaurant one night, very tasty and once again great service.
All three elevators work and are fast to handle the crowd. Nice job ES Portland Oregon airport!

My husband wanted to surprise me for a weekend getaway and chose this place. I've stayed at other Embassy Suites and was very exited. Upon arriving I thought it was strange that there was a gate to get in and had to push a button, however, the exit gate was stuck in the up position. There were 3 shuttles parked in front of the building taking up all of the spots we ae had to go park to check in. It's Portland so of course it was raining. There was only one person checking people in so the wait was long. We finally got checked in and went to the room. They had a sticker showing the room had be sanitized, but when we walked in is smelled like mold and mildew. We didn't want to stand in like again, so I just used our sanitizer wipe and sprayed disinfected spray. The furniture was worn and the sofa was very uncomfortable. There were kids running up and down the halls so it was very noisy because there is a window facing the hallway. Our bedroom faced the airport runway so I just sat and watched planes take off and land which was really neat, but there is a railway crossing that makes noises all day that takes away from the ambiance. The bathroom shower was moldy. The one thing I did really like is that they did have a happy hour from 5pm to 6pm. They offer bags of chips and crackers. They also have a good selection alcohol beverages to choose from. They have a small menu to order food, but it is a bit pricey. Because happy hour is a only an hour it does get crowded. Again we had to wait again to check out and was told there were no charges , but a week later my husband ended up getting a charge on his card that no one could explain. I've stayed at other hotels in the area and prefer those over this one hands down.

We have stayed at numerous Embassy Suites hotels and enjoyed every stay until this one. We are frequent travelers, and the level of service, etc. was deplorable on every level. During our 4 night stay ( March 25 through 28th) , we never had daily housekeeping service, even with me every morning asking for it at the Front Desk ( which I was informed repeatedly that this was a service that was included) , bringing my trash and soiled towels with me. ( and the Front Dest person telling me that they couldn’t touch the towels because of safety concerns, and that I should go back to my room on the 7th floor, and leave them, or take them to the pool room and leave them there!) The final straw was when I told my story (again!) to the Front Desk upon checkout, and they assured me that the General Manager would contact me with my concerns. Surprise, haven’t heard anything from the hotel. This was a very stressful trip for us, as we were transporting my husbands Auntie and Uncle back home to Portland from Hawai’i, so they could go into hospice care, We would think better for a level of the brand of hotel-if I don’t receive a response from the management of the hotel, I will be filing my complaint with your corporate office. I was a senior manager at a Four Seasons Resort, and as I don’t expect that level of service at Embassy Suites, it should be better than a Motel 6. Renee Rooney FYI: we were registered until Uncles name, Richard Peters

This was by far the best hotel we’ve experienced traveling with our two large dogs. The shuttle drivers and front desk staff cheerfully accommodated their crates. It was great to have a full service restaurant on premises and the option for room service, which works well when you can’t leave your pets alone in the room. The room was very comfortable for two adults, two dogs. And the free drink coupons helped smooth the rough edges of a day traveling. Will definitely stay there again!

Typical ES setup in the room with a separate bedroom from the main living area. Nice PNW art. Typical living area furniture (desk, bar with fridge/sink/microwave, couch with ottoman, chair and tv). Chair was like a rock. Bedroom was 2 doubles (that was all that was available in my budget and the bottom sheet was inside out) with only one nightstand, tv, closet, and dresser. Very difficult to maintain a good temp - I was cold the whole trip. Good amount of both usb and plug-ins. No luggage rack - asked and they brought one up. Bathroom was small. Hot water was good in the shower, but the tp is at the back of the toilet. Good countertop for toiletries, but not a fan of the Zero products. Very slow shower drain. Good buffet in the morning - I like the slightly green bananas. I wish the yogurt and almond milk were not sweetened. Beautiful water features in the lobby. I love that they gave me a couple of waters. There was an elevator down most of the time I was at the hotel.

Absolutely beautiful downstairs, very good breakfast. Dismal view of our stay in that the room was cold and after asking if someone could come look at the heater, the woman at the desk asked me if we wanted a couple of extra blankets. We took them and no one ever came to check the heater and we were very cold. The whole week, no one came to clean the bathroom, collect dirty towels and washcloths. I had to go downstairs and ask for them. I was simply stunned because after attending a very busy and tiring conference all week, we only wanted to come back and catch up on our rest, yet we were always cold and am even cold at this writing. We have to travel back to NC tomorrow. Unless we receive some reimbursement, we don't foresee staying here again., Very disappointed. :( Other folks from the conference ran out of toilet paper and coffee. They had to go find a person to ask for toilet paper. Pitiful! These are usually third world problems. I certainly did not expect this from a Hilton hotel.

Does not live up to the embassy suites name. Decent looking building from the outside but interior is 100% 1990s and showing it’s age. Was here for 6 weeks. Big turn off when you first walked into the lobby and see the glass panes for the water feature is caked with years of hard water marks. Front desk staff is hit and miss. Some of them go above and beyond to help (AKA the shuttle bus driver) but some of them are just flat out rude. I was asking the receptionist to add on my gold Hilton membership number to my stay, before I even finished my sentence she just turned her head and walked away to serve the next guest. I even wrote down the number on the check in sheet to speed up the process, only got replied with “I will get to it when I get to it.” Sub-standard housekeeping/cleaning, judging even without the COVID precursor. Ironically, massive streak on the mirror right next to the “Hilton clean stay” sticker. Grimey marks on the desk surface. Questionable that they claim the high touch area has extra cleaning. Drooping palm prints on one of the elevator doors were present on all 6 weeks that I was here. No one emptied out the trash can by the elevator for days on end. One of the room I stayed the shower curtain was put on backwards. Room 819, one of the “premium suite” deemed by the hotel, the AC is constantly making noise even when it’s fully turned off, and the toilet keeps leaking every 10 mins. Another room has no sheer curtains. Oh did I mention the coffee dispenser in the lobby is empty at 7am? Save your money and go elsewhere.

This was the perfect choice for our one night before departing Portland airport in the early morning. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Breakfast was top-notch, with made-to-order eggs, including omelets. The sleep sofa was typically less than comfortable. The airport shuttle ran 24 hours with super helpful staff. The front desk staff was also most helpful. Bar and restaurant are on sight with tasty offerings. I would definitely stay again.

We arrived late due to flight changes and were looking forward to the complimentary drinks advertised on the website and shuttle bus, however, complimentary drinks are only during certain hours (not mentioned on the website or shuttle bus). Don’t try the Lone Pine beer on tap unless you like beer that tastes like someone put a shot of Pinesol in it. We also looked forward to the custom omelets and great breakfast advertised but, again, those are only during certain hours (too late for a large majority of guests who have to catch early flights). I’m not exactly sure if our bed was just not made or it was suppose to look shabby chic. The stains on the bedspread didn’t help matters. There was an exploded soda in the refrigerator, no cups in the bathroom, no shower mat for the shower and the shower door wouldn’t close all the way. The TV in the bedroom came on but wouldn’t change channels. We spoke to the desk clerk about the issues but they were not addressed in the two days we were there and anything that was suppose to be complimentary the buck was passed to someone else. All corporate employees there too afraid to extend a little customer service for fear of being fired. We were actually told that by employees. Not the best experience for us.
