This was a great stay in Cannon Beach. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. They even provided towels and a wagon to go to the beach! Our room had a nice view of the ocean. It was a short drive from the main Cannon Beach area, but it was worth it for the savings. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Cannon Beach area!

This was our second time to stay at the Wayside Inn, and we absolutely loved it. The staff left a bag of salt water taffy with a note that said, "Welcome back!" in the room. What a thoughtful touch! We had 309, which is a king one bedroom end unit. Super clean, comfortable, and a great view of the ocean from our balcony. It was blissfully quiet, which was a huge perk because noisy neighbors and street noise are my biggest hotel irks. The indoor pool and partially outdoor hot tub were open with a 30-minute reservation list for the latter. We were the only ones in the pool both times we used it. We also borrowed beach chairs and beach blankets for our afternoon at the beach. They also keep a beach lantern under the bathroom sink. We cooked five meals in the kitchenette, which was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. They have thought of everything! They also have a recycling area in the parking lot, which we appreciated. We are so grateful for the amazing customer service from each and every staff person. This is what makes the Wayside Inn very special. I have priced other accommodations in Cannon Beach, and I can say without question that the Wayside is the best value, especially for families. A big thank you to the cleaning staff who was working hard every time we spotted them. They have a monumental task every day of keeping the rooms spotless and sanitized. We greatly appreciated it!…

Great place to stay. This was my second time staying here. Very clean nice staff free parking. Walk across to the beach.free dog towels. I didn't use the pol it was closed for covid. This is my go to place in Cannon Beach.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this place!! After staying at several hotels over the years we will never go anywhere else!! The Wayside Inn is spotless, the staff goes above and beyond to cater to your every need and when we wanted to stay an extra night they even helped us switch rooms when the room we were in was booked! The dog friendly aspect is amazing as well! They treat the dogs amazing and even have puppy baskets complete with treats, towels, bowls and even bedding! The bathrooms are complete with everything you need from shampoo, conditioner and body wash, beds are very very clean and comfortable. The views are amazing! Also there is a great grocery store right across the street to get anything you need. The room has a full kitchen stocked with everything you would need to cook and bake!! Again I can’t say enough great things and I am super super picky!!! We will be coming back soon!!…
