We love this hotel in Bend. We’ve stayed here several times during the pandemic and feel very welcome and secure. This time we want thank loudly thank Jonny on the front desk for his help and cheerfulness during our 3-night stay. He made us feel like home. Rooms are very nice and clean. Bed is comfy, we slept like rocks. During this strange time, it’s wonderful to be able to return here. They can’t serve breakfast right now due to COVID, but they do offer some breakfast items to go with smiles. You’ll enjoy the Hampton.. and we will be back in a month to see grandkids again. Thank you to Jonny!!
Great hotel in a great location! We could see the Deschutes river from our second story window. Access to trails along both sides of the river are just steps across the parking lot and a river park less than 1/4 mi down the path. During summer, you can rent inner tubes (or bring your own) and float down the river starting from that same park. The picturesque Old Mill shopping district is right across the river from the hotel and accessible from the parking lot via a bridge across the river. Super easy walk to shop, get coffee, eat, etc. The Le Schwab amphitheater is also very close by (if there are events--none during covid). Behind the hotel (on the non-river side) we saw deer and rabbits and there is a fire pit you can sit at in the evening. The indoor pool and spa were open as was the exercise room. Covid restrictions on the number of people, but was never an issue. The spa is limited to one group/family at a time which is actually nice. breakfast is packaged foods served by a cheerful employee who remembered me each day. Hampton employees are always the best! Rooms were as expected for a Hampton--same layout. mini fridge, microwave, etc. Everything was clean as per usual Hampton. During Covid, housekeeping is by request only. We found it very easy to get things we needed (more toilet paper, etc) from the front desk. The hotel area is also filled with wildflowers blooming which was pleasant. We enjoyed the hotel and the location. Would definitely stay here again when in Bend.…
A great hotel to stay at with family. We came as a family trip, and stayed in adjoining rooms. There was so much space and the rooms are great. Well taken care of, clean, and covid precautions closely followed. Belinda went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Will return
Liked the clean (particularly important at the moment) and new smelling Hilton Hampton In hotel. It appeared very clean, good mask wearing policies adhered to and breakfast well executed. Digital key worked very well. Room was nice, Location is OK - relatively close to the Old Mill district in Bend, OR on the other side of the river. Extra charges that hit our card were dealt with after showing the manager the Hilton email showing it was a 100% stay on Hilton Points (still not sure where/who the charges came from) as he claimed that the points did not cover the stay. Would have been a 5* stay otherwise - nice hotel.
I'm a fan of Hampton Inn & Suites and this one didn't disappoint. its new, nice, and clean. Its right on the Deschutes River and across the street from the Old mill District with lots of great shops, restaurants, and a movie theatre. It's also right across from the river bend park where you can launch your tubes, rafts, and floats to float the Deschutes River. One of the best things to do in Bend. The hotel staff were great and the breakfast was okay. No real hot food like the Hampton Inn in Boise. They claimed COVID-19 but we had a nicer breakfast the next day in Boise at the Hampton Inn there. The serving lady was really nice and overall it was good.
