Courtyard Perth, Murdoch is often praised for its well-designed, clean rooms and is reputed for its cleanliness, with many guests impressed by the newness and meticulous maintenance. The service is generally applauded for being friendly and helpful, although occasional communication hiccups are mentioned. While the amenities—including comfortable beds and convenient parking—are appreciated, there is some frustration over construction and parking fees. The location is deemed convenient by travelers, positioned close to highways and the city center. The inviting atmosphere is a highlight, though opinions on value vary, with some concerns about hidden costs.

Lovely new hotel in perfect position if you need to be in Fiona Stanley Hospital or St John of God Murdoch. Very clean and comfortable. Standard rooms are a bit small and could do with a luggage rack and a bit bigger fridge but that is our only complaint. Large picture windows, super comfortable beds with king size pillows make up for the size. Great restaurant downstairs with high quality food for lunch and breakfast (didn't try dinner). Outside the hotel in the plaza there are a few more cafes which are great to try too. We would come again, but would really love it if they had discount rates for those of us with family members in hospital as it gets rather pricey to stay for more than a few nights.

I recently enjoyed a three-night stay, warmly welcomed by the lovely front desk staff with a cool flute of local Prosecco. The hotel's proximity to the site I was visiting in Perth made it incredibly convenient for my work trip. The facilities were good, and the bedding was clean and fresh, contributing to a pleasant stay. The only improvement I would suggest is the addition of a bathrobe and better-quality towels. I’m looking forward to visiting again in 6-8 weeks' time.

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Courtyard Perth, Murdoch. The room was fresh, clean and outstanding in its appearance, comfort and quality of inclusions. The menus and meals in the Courtyard restaurant were of a high quality.

There were issues with communications between staff and guests. We found that the staff did not explain information clearly, requiring guests to sort things out for themselves.

The package we had was the stay & dine package. This was very good as there really isn't anything close by to have a nice dinner at. The issue here was that the Courtyard restaurant staff were limited in their knowledge of what was included in this package. On our third night, we found the staff in the restaurant unfriendly, slow with their service and forgot to provide items we had ordered.

Parking for the hotel is a big issue. There are no clear directions as to where guests are to park. Even the map and front desk staff explanations were confusing. There needs to be clearer details provided, the website, including to park in section C2 in the carpark. Also, there needs to be something done about the cost of parking there, with a reduction to your guests that works better than the bar code system, as this was a complete fail.

This new hotel ticks all the boxes with ideal location close to hospitals and Perth city centre. The decor is tasteful and the furnishings attractive. The room was adequate and, once again, tastefully furnished. However, if you want to avoid a troubled night's sleep and a sore neck, take your own pillows. Sometimes bigger is not better. The fat, solid pillows were like trying to sleep on a body bolster. There were no flatter pillows available in the cupboard to use for people who prefer a smaller pillow. Likewise with the heavy feather duvet ....a choice of a lightweight blanket would have provided more comfort.
Anticipating a memorable dinner in the trendy restaurant unfortunately did not happen. My entrée were crocodile spring rolls ....unusual bland taste of some sort of herbs but the aroma was similar to a sweaty gym shoe. Could only eat one. For mains I chose the vegetarian burger of kale and quinoa patty and chips. The patty was heavy and tasteless. The construction of the burger had no finesse with poorly cut slices of tomato, lumps of avocado and what I assume was a smear of tomato sauce on the brioche bun. MacDonalds has no fear of competition in this category! The chips were hot and crisp but heavily salted. Once again I had to leave most of this food.
The wait person was very pleasant but struggled with basic English requests. We had requested and repeated that there was to be no ice in our drinks but one turned up with several large chunks of ice.

Had 14 days booked on my behalf because of its proximity to our work. Staff were great and rooms were good. A comfy little couch would be an improvement as seating is limited to one chair with a small round table and a weird layback seat. WiFi is fast. Hated the pillows, but that could be a personal thing. Parking every day was a pain as there was constant issues with their ticketing/ payment system. Restaurant had quality but pricey food with pretty limited selections. Beware, the menu pricing was “out of date” and I was charged more one night for my order. No guest laundry, so only option is the exorbitantly priced per item system they have. Would have gone to a nearby laundromat but using that parking once a day was torment enough. Will be looking elsewhere first next time.

Dear garyhE6538FQ, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. I'm pleased to hear that our staff and rooms met your expectations, and that you found the WiFi to be fast and reliable. I appreciate your suggestions about the room seating arrangements and understand how a comfy little couch could enhance the comfort of your stay. We're always looking for ways to improve and will certainly consider this in our future plans. I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with third party parking system. Your frustration is understandable, and we're actively working to resolve these issues to ensure a smoother experience for our guests. Regarding your dining experience, I'm sorry to hear about the pricing discrepancy. This is not reflective of the standard we strive for, and I have brought this to the attention of our Food and Beverage team to prevent it from happening in the future. I also understand the challenge of not having a guest laundry facility on-site and the impact it had on your stay. While our valet laundry service is intended to provide convenience, I can see how it may not be the ideal option for everyone. Your feedback is invaluable to us as it helps us improve our services. We hope you will consider giving us another chance in the future, and we would be delighted to make your next stay more comfortable and seamless. Safe travels, Gaurav Kajal Front Office Manager Courtyard Perth, Murdoch

It's bit of a trial to find the lobby but once done the staff could not do enough to assist. The building us still under construction but the convenience of the proximity to Fiona Stanley hospital and St John of God hospital is so close parking is available at hotel which is a godsend given the shortage of parking available on the hospitals sites. My room was of course brand new. It was welcoming and with plenty of space. An amazing comfortable king bed with dream pillows. Privacy blinds were great providing just enough to view the surroundings but keep the room snug. The bathroom had all amenities. Tea and coffee were available with cups and glasses and mini bar fridge. The lighting was more than adequate. My room was at end of the corridor and was very quiet. Dining at the podium level was a treat with the seafood curry being the perfect choice.

I booked this hotel for the sole purpose of having somewhere to rest and shower before a late night interstate flight. The hotel is very new and beautifully appointed. The lighting and comfortable bedding ensured a peaceful and restful stay serving its purposes perfectly. The welcome glass of champagne and free parking was unexpected but very appreciated. We arrived when the kitchen was closed but “grab-and-go” sandwiches, rolls, cakes and muffins were available. Only 20 minutes from the airport by car.

Book only if you have to be near the hospital. We made a mistake on the location and booked here, not knowing this hotel is more than 30min from the city. The carpark linked to the hotel is not managed by the hotel and cost AUD45 for overnight parking. So basically, we have to park at C2 and then find the lift to Courtyard Marriott to go up to the hotel lobby. The signs in the carpark are not helpful. We were so thankful to the gentleman from carpark management who came to find us and showed us the correct way to go to the lift.
The room is new-looking with nice comfortable bed, staff are friendly. We ate 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts at the only restaurant called Substance. Food was good! There is really no other choice around. Area is not walkable to restaurants n no shop in sight. Staff even suggest Uber Eats !

Stayed 5 nights in this hotel. The room is nice but would help with an extra chair near the door/dressing area so that you can have somewhere to sit when putting on your shoes. The pressure of the hand shower in the bathroom was terribly weak which simply made a comfortable shower after a long day not possible. It was shocking too to find the room not serviced at all when we returned very late one evening and we were ‘accused’ that we had the DND tag on which was not the case. We wrote to the management via Chat on the Bonvoy App about the issues. Apart from an acknowledgement from the front desk who attended to the App, there was not a single feedback from the management. We didn’t even received a request for a survey of our stay which is unusual as there has always been one emailed to us as an an Bonvoy elite member. Overall, a very disappointing stay.
