We stayed in one bedroom unit 2 - there was a single bed in the living area also. The kitchen was a bit dated and didn't have much wiggle room, but everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom has been recently renovated and was good. We would have liked to have had a coffee table in the living room. Vicky was on hand to help if needed and was very friendly.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Carmen’s. The unit was very clean with all the supplies you could need. Lovely sunny deck out front with views of the water. Bed and bedding fresh and clean Vicki was an attentive hos. Would totally recommend
We liked the place and everything we needed was there. The owners are friendly and one can park in front of the huts. For my personal liking, there were a few too many spiders, which was probably only bad luck and I wouldn't expect it to be a regular thing. Bed was comfy. I recommend this as a place to stay when traveling along the coast. Sights are close.
We stay in unit 3 and it didn’t have ocean views,we did only stay one night beds we comfortable , these units are little dated but for the price I suppose it is relevant, Weren’t so keen on the plates plates and mugs
We stayed here for four nights, and it was an ideal base for day trips to Bay of Fires, St Columba Waterfall, Bicheno, and Coles Bay. We had the roadside unit (#5) which had views of the ocean. The sea was just a few minutes walk away, and there are couple of corner shops close by. Loved hearing the sound of the ocean. Facilities were very good - two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and small dining/living area. Vicky was VERY helpful and eager to please. The oven was broken, despite her attempts to get an electrician (busy time of year), so she let us borrow a portable one. Microwave and stove were fine. Only negatives were occasional sound of laundry (behind) and smell of cigarette smoke (next door). Very good overall, and ideal for us - 2 adults and 4 kids.
