We had a very comfortable and really liked our 2 night stay at Eagle Peaks. We found Emily to be very accommodating without being intrusive. The added touches like a map with local information and her recommendations for eating was great. The place was very clean and modern. We personally appreciated the clever architecture of the buildings. It is in a quiet residential area which made our stay peaceful. Loved our distant view over the water. Would highly recommend.

We stayed three nights in one of the two studios at Eagle Peaks and enjoyed it very much. The studio was spacious, clean and had beautiful views of the bay and a walkout to a deck and small yard where the wallabies would visit at dusk. Emily, our host, was very friendly and helpful and each day she would replenish our continental breakfast supplies while we were off hiking the nearby park. There were also some delightful trails to two beaches directly from the studio. Overall it suited our needs perfectly.

We stayed in the Beach House for 2 nights and were met on our arrival by the owner Iain and his 10 year old sheepdog Hannah. Iain gave us great tips for dinner (The Edge) and sightseeing (Friendly Beaches) and showed us what they had provided for breakfast. Everything for a continental breakfast was there other than fresh fruit that we picked up at the convenience store in Coles Bay. The Beach House was very clean, modern and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of Great Oyster Bay, looking south to Maria Island. When we arrived back at the Beach House at dusk there were 5 wallabies in the back yard. Thanks to Iain and Belinda for your warm hospitality. You have a beautiful spot at Eagle Peaks.

Excellent accommodation. We stayed in studio 1 with a view of the garden and sea and wildlife-Wallabies and the pet dog. The hosts, Iain and Belinda made us feel very welcome. The decoration of the studio was contemporary with very attractive architectural features. The large king size bed was very comfortable. There is a small kitchenette and a basic breakfast is provided. We were able to do a very pleasant walk along a forest sandy track to the beach at Edge of the Bay Resort for dinner. Coles Bay, nearby, has 2 local convenience store a petrol station and places to eat and a harbour and boat ramp. There are lots of activities available. From there it is a short drive to the Freycinet National Park.

We stayed two nights at the Beach House at Eagle's Peak. The place was huge, and had full kitchen facilities, that will make an awesome place for families with kids as well.
The place is extremely clean, stylish, and comfortable.
It was also just a ten minute drive from the visitor centre of Freycinet National Park , and about 10 minutes drive from the Freycinet Marine Farm that serves delicious and fresh sea food.
In the evenings just when the sun begins to set, you can see many wallabies in the backyard feeding. It's such a lovely sight, to have wildlife just at your door step! There's a beautiful view of the sea from the Beach House as well.
The hosts Iain and Belinda were very friendly, and ensured that our needs are met. She took the initiative to replace our breakfast provisions like milk and juice when we were done with them on the first night. They have a very friendly dog, Hannah, who sits by our house every morning, but doesn't get too close to intimidate. Very well trained !
Their awesome service and hospitality is beyond words! On the day that we left , we left a bag of shoes at the Beach House and set off for Launceston, which was a 3 hour drive from Eagle's Peak. By the time we realise we left our shoes there , we were too far too retrieve them. Little did we know that out host, Iain, had driven all the way to Launceston even before we arrived to drop them off. He later called the hotel we were staying at to get in touch with us. This is really going beyond his call of duty! This is really service at its best!
We are very grateful to them, and we will highly recommend their lovely place to anyone who's visiting !

Thanks so much for your review. Well it's the first time that one of our guests has described the Beach House as being 'huge'. It's certainly not a MacMansion however it is very comfortable for either one or two couples (Eagle Peaks does have a policy of not accommodating guests 15 years of age and under). I guessed that there may have been a comment about the 'shoe delivery'. I have to admit that my trip to Launceston that day was not 'just about the shoes'. It might sound good but I did have to take Belinda to the airport that afternoon. Thanks for the wrap though and glad my detective skills managed to track you down!!

Stayed two nights in a Studio. One of the most stunning views I have ever had from my room ! Gorgeous private room. Decent kitchenette facilities. Continental breakfast provided was basic but lovely: fresh bread (toaster provided), gourmet jams, honey, vegemite, two cereals, milk, gourmet juice, ground gourmet coffee and plunger. Had 10 wallabies within 10 metres of our room at twilight. Iain and Belinda were wonderful hosts, and when asked gave terrific advice about the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Many thanks for your review and thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at Eagle Peaks. Great to have the local wildlife visit to keep the grass short. Only wish the wallabies had better bathroom etiquette with where they dispose of their droppings. Some readers may find the Beach House comments misleading. The Beach House can correctly accommodate up to four guests but Eagle Peaks does not accommodate families with children 15 years of age and under.

Lain and Belinda were the nicest hosts! We stayed in The Beach house during our stay in Coles Bay. It is very spacious and had everything that we could ever need. We loved having breakfast on our porch outside every morning. The entire area is simply gorgeous!

We enjoyed two nights in the Beach House with friends. The facilities were excellent and the house well equipped and thoughtfully designed. The bush garden, with ocean views, provided a beautiful, natural environment. Iain and Belinda are helpful and gracious hosts, most responsive to our needs. Definitely a great place to stay in Coles Bay. WiFi was not operating fully at the time of our visit.

Unfortunate that the mobile wifi device that we lend to guests was broken at the time. Reception is not great at the best of times in Coles Bay.

My wife and I stayed here in March and found the accommodation to be of a very high standard and backed up by superb service from the owners Iain and Belinda. The studios are very well presented with excellent views and feel very private. I asked to use a mountain bike and Iain went with me and showed me some local routes. If you are staying in Coles Bay this is the place to stay as this is a very professionally run business.

To all you potential mountain bikers........ You may have to pick your time to visit as your host has trashed is body over the years, the result being the odd injury issue. Many thanks for your review and it was a great pleasure showing you some of the not so accessible areas.

Eagle Peaks has quickly become one of our top holiday accomodations, after staying there for two nights in late Feb. We occupied the Beach House which we found really comfortable and spacious - enjoying the luxury of our own rooms complete with comfy double beds and good pillows (very important factor IMO). The house was clean, modern and decked out with all you could need for a great stay (although like the previous review, I would have liked a dvd player - tv can really suck - however its absence was not an issue). View from the house is nice, looking over a spacious garden and the ocean. The property also contains some studios and when in particular areas of the property you can see other guests (this may or may not be an issue for visitors), however we we not bothered by this (we only saw another person for about 10 seconds). The only thing that worried us was that the property operates with tank water and the loo is a septic system - we are not used to dealing with this so were a bit nervous about how much water we were using and what to flush, but this is a minor detail and didnt spoil our stay. We found the owners Belinda and Iain to be fabulous, helpful (dinner recommendations were spot on) and friendly and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Hi Beth. The only option we have available is a Studio suitable for two guests on the nights of December 25th & 26th (we do have a minimum 2 night stay policy). If you wish to make a booking you will need to contact the property directly. Cheers Iain
