Rooms are great, don't be put off by the outside which looks old and outdated. Bed(ks) was super comfy! Reception staff are uninterested and didn't offer much of a welcome or conversation but the room was newly updated and kitchenette was a bonus.
It was a modern room with a kitchenette and it had good cutlery .the price was very low and it only cost $108 dollars . it was very close to the moree aqautic center and it was walking distance from the pool. It had a very good bed and it was very comfortable.it also had very good parking space and you don't have a hard time getting in and out.
I booked this accomodation for a 2 night stay over Easter to visit my daughter who lives in Moree. Reading the reviews it looked like one of the best. Sadly I have been dissatisfied and disappointed. Firstly the website and the sign out the front of the motel state there is Foxtel ( there is no Foxtel, false advertising). The front of the motel is so uninviting with a large room as you drive in to reception is obviously the Owners home. The photo on the website is at the back of the motel where a restaurant is which was not open all weekend. On arrival I was told that my room was a Queen when I had booked a king and that the room wasn’t ready due to being understaffed. Absolutely not my problem didn’t want to hear about it especially when they were very happy to take my money. I was told that they upgraded me to another room with a king bed and that room was ready at 2.00 pm ( there was no upgrade I had booked a king room and was given a king room) There was no light bulb in the bed side table my husband had to take the bulb out of his side so I could read. No bulb in the light over the desk and both lights in the roof had insects in them. The bathroom was so small with no cupboard or drawer or space to but toiletries. There was one roll of toilet paper and we stayed 2 nights. On a good note the shower was good and the bed wasn’t to bad ( clean sheets and the mattress was comfortable. We were given no milk to make a cuppa in the morning. We went to the front reception to ask for milk but it was all locked up. We will be coming to Moree on a regular basis but we will not be staying at the Econo Lodge Moree Spa motor inn .…
Thank you so much to Mick and his team for a terrific stay. I was in Moree for the first time and Econo Lodge was a great base. It felt like a real home away from home. The whole team and so warm and friendly. The rooms are great and the bed is incredibly comfortable. Thanks Mick, see you all again soon!
You expect budget motels to be simple accommodation but you do not expect to find outright shabbiness and little upkeep and attention to customer comfort. Problems included fluorescent bed light circa 1970 broken, bathroom tap would not turn off, exhaust fan in bathroom missing but turned into skylight with roof lining exposed, minimum working power points (some were at ceiling height??) coffee stains on outdoor plastic furniture suggesting the area had not been cleaned, noisy extractor fan with light in kitchenette, broken plastic hooks on back of bathroom door to hang towels, abandoned shopping trolleys in car park, casual, dismissive attitude shown by reception staff. We had the sense that we were allocated the roadgang men's doss rooms . Avoid this place. Seriously the management of this place need to demolish and start again or spend some money updating these rooms to a standard expected in 2020. Lowest quality reflects total lack of care and standards.…
This is our regular go to motel in Moree and we are never disappointed. This time we had a luxury king room which had loads of storage space, was clean, modern and quiet. And, as always the family management was welcoming and friendly. It is also easy walking distance to the Artesian Baths which fortunately were operating despite CV19, though you do have to book.
Our stay at Econo Lodge was amazing. We could not fault anything. Booked the Executive King Room which was the cleanest room ever. Mattress, linen and pillows was like being at a 5 star hotel. Extremely modern kitchen and bathroom was a bonus too. After a day of driving we were so grateful that their restaurant Maslina was open. Sensational food, wine and professional friendly service. Last but not least Mick was so helpful and friendly on arrival. Thanks team Econo we will definitely be back when travelling again.
Only stayed one night, passing through making our way back to Qld before the border closes tomorrow due to Covid19. After travelling 8 hours today, the room was comfortable and was a welcome site with a king size bed. Showered and opened up a bottle of wine. A dinner room service was offered by the Manager. I ordered the pork dish and my husband ordered a steak. OMG - absolutely restaurant quality meals prepared and delivered by the chef. Only difference was we weren't sitting in an al a carte restaurant. (I was a Motelier, once upon a time). Superb - hang on to him!!!
The family stayed for 2 nights in Moree to enjoy the mineral springs. We stayed at the Econo Lodge, which is about 200 meters from the spa. You can walk there. Room was clean and basic. Good value and good service from the staff. There is a pool onsite and bbq facilities. You can park onsite. I would stay again.
Great family stopover in Moree. This place is great value and the family rooms are huge with comfortable beds. Close to the artesian baths and a great restaurant on site with excellent food. Can't fault it.
