My wife and I stayed at the hotel, they never cleaned the room once ,no clean towels either. Disgraceful
This restaurant shows what appears to be a good selection of gluten and dairy free options on the menu, but this is not a reality. I asked for the fish and chips which said GA (gluten free available) but it turns out you can't have any of the chips and the fish will be grilled. How is that fish and chips??!! So you can't have the ham, egg and chips (no chips) and the desserts are no different. The waitress repeatedly went backwards and forwards to the kitchen with our questions and was very helpful but the answer was always no. In the end I had to have a jacket potato which is not great for a meal out. I chose the chicken and bacon mayo topping. The mayo was very thick and the bacon extremely fatty. My dairy free friend suffered similarly. The only dessert option available was vegan ice cream as they had run out of the sponge pudding. My non-dietary challenged friends had no difficulty in choosing a dish, but said that the steak pie was very gristly. Sadly, this is is not a restaurant we would recommend or visit again.…
Stayed one night staff friendly and helpful, rooms are a bit dated but clean they had everything you need , good location, breakfast was standard English tasty and hot, good pub right next door , on street parking Bognor had plenty of pubs and restaurants to keep us occupied, and a nice promenade
Unfortunately I have to leave a poor review. We had booked on for the Bank holiday, I was in contact with them over the phone, had booked accommodation, gave my bank details over the phone, arrange to pay on arrival. When we arrived, they didn't have our booking. They had booked other people into our room, when staff had contacted the manager they said we had booked wrong dates, knowing full well I hadn't booked wrong dates. The staff came over to us and said it's on the calender you haven't booked the wrong dates at all. Absolutely no where to stay in Bognor, we had travelled from Sheffield, Wales and Kent, lucky our friend put us up but it was a small one bed flat, incredibly cramped. Navigator poor organisation had ruined our weekend.
The staff and food were excellent. By the end of 3 months it felt like being with family. The room was clean and comfortable. Dining area has a sea view with charts on the celling adding to the rustic charm along with all the nautical décor.
