An inn is set on the harbour. The pub is lively warm and welcoming. The room was a reasonable size, a double bed. The bedding was clean and comfortable although I dont think top quality pillows. . Storage is adequate for a-short stay. The bathroom was clean and sufficient. Has tv wifi and tea and coffee making facilities. I found the room to be cold even with the radiators on a high setting although this did seem to rectify after a couple of days. The breakfast wasn’t to my liking. I found the bacon and sausage were dry. The continental was very basic. The evening meal was slightly disappointing. The beef was very nice but the rest of the meal quite bland. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are accessible by two narrow winding staircases but there are hand rails.

Great weekend in the Olde Ship. Our room was on the top floor. It had everything we needed. Plenty of storage and a lovely, clean, bright bathroom with a great hot shower. There was loads of choice for breakfast and the staff were really friendly. The location is right on the harbour.

The main reason we feel a 3 out of 5 is the very uncomfortable mattress we felt like we shouldn’t have bothered going to bed the sleep was that bad , my wife slept on the settee cushions for 2 of the nights , for that reason alone we wouldn’t stay again

Great pub/hotel in a superb location. Lovely bar atmosphere with a mix of locals and visitors. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed 2 evening meals (delicious and good value). The breakfast is fabulous !!! Choice of Eggs Benedict / Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs / Full English as well as Yoghurt / Fruit / Cereals / Toast and Juices. We would happily pay £20 per head just for the breakfast. All served by friendly, attentive staff.

Wouldn’t recommend the pub waited ages to be served by a surly middle aged woman with glasses. Charged £11 for two pints of lime and soda. Couldn’t be bothered to locate a dog bowl saying there should be 10 out there when there wasn’t one. Cheap bread with the soup not sourdough as per menu

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights in the Olde Ship Inn in Seahouses. Nestled right by the harbour, it has bags of character and charm and pleasant, helpful staff. The meals were very good and the breakfasts excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. The bar and public areas are full of sea themed memorabilia and the roaring fire made it very cosy. I hope it is not too long before we come back!

Staff fantastic. Hotel fantastic...food lovely. Our room was really nice. Clean. Nicely decorated. And hot bath. As for our stay. Room 10 our adjacent residents spoilt what was a good experience. Constantly slammed door.and then decided to keep us awake into the early hours. Nearly got dressed and slept in car. Would have been more peaceful. Thankyou whoever you were. The walls are paper thin and could hear every word. Sorry old ship.
