Arrived at Reception to book in. Was blatantly ignored by receptionist, and then when she could be bothered told me there was no booking made for one of my colleagues. And was fully booked. I had booking confirmation in my hand. So rude and smug. Customer service don’t exist. Will never step foot in the place again. Car park is like a bomb site. Doesn’t look welcoming from the outside and definitely not welcoming at reception!

This was great coffee shop and stop. The coffee was really nice and prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Well worth a stop if passing. Great food on offer. Service was fast and very good.

Stopped here twice when the pub in the village of Belford had no chef. Glad we did cos the food was fantastic and best fish and chips I have had in a long while and very reasonably priced. Very clean and following Covid regulations. Not your typical truck stop I would have thought.

Stayed at Purdy Lodge bank holiday weekend and rooms were very clean. We booked two rooms for our party and they both had stunning views out over the field and could also see the sea. Beds were very comfy with minimal noise from busy road. We used this hotel as base but also ate here to and there was good choice to choose from. Breakfast was gorgeous. Staff seemed to be very busy but overall the service was good. Still waiting for them to email our receipt but all an all a good stay.
