Very good value. Clean room and quiet nights sleep. Building a bit tired but for the price we couldn’t complain. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good facilities in nearby Ashington. We didn’t eat as the restaurant wasn’t open. A breakfast pack up would be a good added feature.

We have stayed here twice in the last couple of months and both stays have been a delight: the staff have been friendly and efficient; the cleanliness and COVID measures impeccable; and the proximity of the restaurant for excellent meals (especially breakfasts) is a great benefit. More than that, we loved the view from our room (though not all rooms have a lake view) and enjoyed the walk around the lake. Access to beautiful Northumberland and Tyneside is also very good.

Excellent 1 night stay,lady on reception was a bit grumpy but all in all good visit.......Will use venue again if work brings us this way Obviously with covid restrictions no food available but takeaways seemed to be delivering

Excellent location by the lake with lots of water fowl to feed! Good reception and COVID safety features in place. Meals in the next-door pub were generally good for the price, excellent staff. Lots of car parking but as this is also part of a country park the parking was muddy and needs an upgrade.

We had a great stay here, value for money and staff were great. The only thing I would say is I think there should be a non slip mat for the bath for showering also there should be a toilet brush but everything else was perfect
