hotel was handy for A1 but no traffic noise. The room was clean and cosy in an atmospheric way . unique and charming, The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. The gardens were beautiful

Stayed at the Alnwick lodge at end of May in the barn conversion with wife and sons. Every one really enjoyed the relaxed friendly atmosphere and very much at home. Excellent location and lots to do nearby
