We visited during our family holiday for some drinks, and we’re served by the lovely Tobias. His service was quick and efficient, and his friendly conversation made our day and brought a smile to all of our faces. If we were staying any longer then we would definitely be back, due to this young man’s charm. Thank you, Tobias! 😊

Myself and my wife have just returned from this beautiful hotel after a 3 day break. We had a great room with a balcony with amazing views. Food was served in a beautiful dining room with excellent service from great staff. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff..from front desk..waiters and cleaners. Every day ample coffee..tea ..milk ..water and biscuits were replenished. The food is amazing quality and good portions served. The hotel is set is a great position. A quality hotel with quality service and food. We will definatley return .

Had a wonderful 2 nights stay at The White Lodge Hotel. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Fabulous sea view room, incredible food but the best thing about The White Lodge is the amazing staff. Very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Staff are invariably pleasant, helpful and attentive. The hotel has been nicely refurbished and reflects traditional hotel-keeping values. There is a lift which helps with guests with mobility problems. The dining room is large and pleasant; as we were there before 19th July, breakfast was waitress service from a large menu. The “beer garden” is also large and was often full at lunchtime while we were there. Do not miss the cake which is served in the bar (it’s twice as high as a normal cake and was obviously baked by a master!). However, the imposition of a £10 per day car parking charge jars somewhat, and should definitely already be included in the room charge (there are only 6 spaces which have to be pre-booked). We enjoyed our stay.

Please be aware that seagulls can swoop down and make off with your lunch when taken in the delightful outside seating area. According to the Receptionist. 'These things happen at the seaside. We were under no obligation to give you another lunch, so you can't complain'. I had not touched a morsel when the incident happened and was shocked by this response. The gluten free sandwich was delicious, although the 8 crisps in lieu of chips did not warrant the £ 9.95 charge. Disappointed.
