Comfortable beds in nice clean room, family members are disabled, and their room was was accessible with good sized bathroom adapted for wheelchair user, the beds were a little too low for disabled member of the family, but staff when asked attended quickly and added cups underneath the bed to raise it. Had a issue with price of meal deal, which staff apologised and explained price was due to rise soon, they quickly refused to overcharge, and were polite and checked if anything they could do. The hotel was on a hill, but staff were quick to offer assistance without being asked, and also held open the doors for us, as it was difficult to hold door while pushing the wheelchair. Great hotel, with the stay made even better by helpful staff, I would love to stay at this hotel above overs when visiting the area in future.…
Warm efficient welcome on arrival with plenty of well lit parking, easy to find location and tidy/clean exterior. Room was very clean and well laid out for a family of four, with the lovely touch of complimentary drinks and bedtime story books. Staff were super helpful at providing bowls of chips for hungry children even though the kitchens were closing, which was much appreciated. Great night’s sleep and brilliant breakfast selection with yet again super service. Pretty faultless stay!
As a large three generational family group ranging in age from 0-70, we were looking for somewhere within easy reach of the ferry terminal before departing on a holiday to the Isle of Wight. We tend to opt for Premier Inns because they are pretty consistent and offer good sized family rooms, comfortable beds, a decent shower and a good quality breakfast at a sensible price. Our stay was very pleasant and a good start to our holiday. We were particularly impressed with the young man who checked us in. He was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of his way to ensure we had all we needed.
All the staff we dealt with were welcoming and competent. However there was some confusion over billing. This was probably due to the fact that we were making a gift of the time in the Hotel to a family who are friends of ours. Fortunately for us the manager Shane was able to help us very kindly and the problem has been sorted by him.
This Premier Inn is consistently good. Staff are friendly, personable and there if you need them, otherwise you are left alone to come and go as needed. Pretty good value for money, room facilities are just what are needed, with the added bonus of having a bath, which many hotels sadly lack! The air con in the room is very efficient and was much needed in the current heatwave - the air con was actually a deciding factor in where we should stay. This is our second Summer stay to visit family in the area and we would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend. Beefeater restaurant on site which serves breakfast as well as other meals.
Consistent Premier inn expectations from this hotel with friendly helpful staff who responded well to personal requests. Beefeater restaurant better than some next to Premier Inns with a good hot! breakfast and easy self service. May be awkward to visit in icy conditions re hill/steps between hotel and restaurant. Most parking is either up or down hill so not so easy for access.
Stayed for one night with my husband and 4 children, before an early morning ferry over to the isle of wight. Booked 2 rooms and was given interconnecting rooms, which was perfect. The lady on reception was friendly and welcoming, booking in was easy and she explained where to park and how to get to our rooms. The rooms were clean and tidy. The beds were comfy. Tea, coffee and a kettle available. Air conditioning also available which was greatly appreciated as we stayed during the really hot weather. We didn't use the restaurant as we arrived late and had to leave early. There's an asda a couple of minutes drive away. Overall a great hotel, great value for money. Would recommend and stay again if we were in the area!
Poor wi fi, wasn't prepared to pay £5 a day for upgrade. Breakfast was all you can eat , but the waitress took a food order making it difficult to ask for extra once served, no hash browns on day 1 ? really !
We’ve stayed lots of times in Premier Inns. This one suits us as near friends. Staff very helpful and went out of their way to provide extra fans. Food at local beefeater for breakfast is great value, if only they had more staff. Very slow due to one person taking bookings, payment and showing to tables.
We stayed for two nights to attend a Wedding nearby. The hotel was the perfect location for us. Whilst it is close to a busy road, we had two great nights sleep in a comfy bed. The room was clean. The staff were lovely on arrival and throughout our stay. Breakfast at the Beefeater was good too. Overall a lovely stay
