The rooms are disgusting and unlivable. Do not stay here. We had to stay unfortunately and we slept in our clothes with both eyes open. Our son slept in the truck to keep an eye out because there are lots of people living there out of uhauls with lots of unsupervised young babies screaming all night. This is a 5 star bed in a 0 star room!! The bed was so comfortable. The room not so much !! First of all no fire alarm huge problem !! The reason we stayed was due to a house fire and looking for place to live!! Needed to save money and wanted to stay close to husbands work! Let me tell you if you read reviews take them seriously! This place needs shut down! It is a joke !! After staying a few days i felt less scared! i feel like it is customary to sing ur name on the wall which i won't be doing!! But hey i don't think they care lol actually just don't stay in canton canton is a awful place!!! Akron is even worse !! We are moving either to louisville or heartville they are decent areas!!

The ceiling had Hugh patches where the pop corn ceiling had come off. The room was dark and nasty. You can see where the door had been kicked in several times. The room was very unsafe. I want to know why the health dept. Has not been called. We turned around and left.

If I could give this hotel a ZERO I would this was BY FAR the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen, my children's feet & my dogs white fur were black from the wet floors, the wall paper was peeling and mold was growing on the walls and ceilings, the doors for busted including the door jams, the chairs that were at one time pink were stained black, the commode would not flush, the tub was dirty, there was trash behind the night stand, we refused to sleep under the blankets and spent a night tossing and turning and praying for dawn, we had decided we were in a B rated horror movie and were set to die soon......I have never felt so dirty in all my life....our neighbors next to us said their bathroom was flooded, another guest verbally attacked a house keeper bc of the state of her room as the owner walked by cleaning up the parking lot.....the housekeepers were going into non smoking rooms smoking an were in those rooms for less then 5 minutes......When we checked out we tried to explain the conditions to the owner and even attempted to show him pictures to which he cut us off and was very rude and put the condition of our stay back on us asking why didn't we request a room change......well lets see if you check someone into a room in this condition apparently all of your rooms are this deplorable, we had been traveling all day with 3 small children a teenager and a dog, our camper broke down and could not be fixed until the next day so we needed accommodations by the time we checked in, got dinner we were exhausted and uninterested in anymore drama and just wanted to sleep....my family all felt like we left there with an STD it was so filthy.....I did call the health dept who's office face this hotel & was referred to code enforcement in Columbus....this place NEEDS shut down like 10 yrs ago.....the older lady who checked us in was very nice and seemed more concerned on whether my English Bulldog was a pit bull then the condition of the room she rented us, but she was very nice unlike the owner who was completely unprofessional and rude.....we would of been better off sleeping in the street next to the tow company where our camper was sitting for repair....we will NEVER stay at a Knights Inn again or any affiliate of Knights Inn.....Uncalled for, disgusting and RUDE RUDE RUDE

Worst motel I've ever stayed at. Sheets pillows blankets smelled bad. Many of the room light bulbs needed to be replaced. Sink stopper broke. Faucet difficult to turn on. Hotel managment completely unresponsive to complaints, would not return calls. Did not answer written corespondance. Super 8 corporate declined to get involved. I WILL not stay at a Super 8 again, especailly not this Canton location.

This was by far the nastiest property I've stayed in. The carpet was stained and dirty, the towels and wash cloths were dingy and old. This place badly needs an interior paint job. Wallpaper from the 1970s is peeling off the walls. The bathroom door had deep scratches and black Sharpie writing on the inside. The bed and linens were probably the only 'clean' item in the room. Stains on the lone dining chair. An old, nasty swivel desk chair sat by the door, but I couldn't figure out why it was there. The television remote was dead on arrival, had to request batteries from the front desk in order to get the television to work at all. It's one of the worst places I've seen in a long time.

This place doesn't even deserve a single star. First off, after asking for a non-smoking room, we were given a most definitely smoking room - complete with burn holes in the sheets and on the wall (!). We tried turning on the fan, but that let off an even worse, rank smoke aroma than we experienced upon our arrival. Beyond that, despite the fact that there weren't more than ten cars in the entire parking lot, we were wedged amongst three to four other groups, the one directly next door partying loudly until all hours of the night. For several reasons, this place was comparable to how one might imagine a crack den. I'll list just a few: - The comforters had permanent stains splotched across them in an awful shade of yellow/brown. - The sheets had tiny hairs all over them, in addition to tiny black specks that looked like lint, but definitely did not burn like lint does (we tried it just to see). - The wallpaper was peeling off the walls... in some areas it looked like the walls themselves were so grossed out by their location that they were trying to separate themselves from the foundation of the building. - The front door appeared to have been battered with pellets. The bathroom door looked as though someone had previously broken it down in a fit of rage.
These are just a few of the many reasons we will never stay at a Knights Inn again. Highly recommending that you do the same!
Worst of all, this place was $50 with a coupon. We spent the night prior in a Travelodge in Virginia for $5 less, and that room was WORLDS better than this horrible excuse for a motel. We should have slept in our car.

Room was full of dead bugs. Bathtub was busted. Door frame was split, trim was the only thing holding the door closed. There were hillbilly types getting drunk outside the rooms. I would've been better off in a tent at the Walmart parking lot.

Our Goal at KI Canton is provide a safe and secure experience for all of our guests. In the event that it becomes necessary to replace or repair any damaged area of a guest room, we attempt to do it as soon as possible. Placing the room in an out of order condition means that we will not rent the room until we have corrected the issue. When a guest brings a concern to our attention, we want to fix it. If for any reason a guest does not find the condition of the room to be acceptable, we attempt to immediately resolve the issue to the satisfaction of the guest.

Once again my wife and I hit the road and we found ourselves in Canton, OHon buisness. The day we were to check out, we got a call from the front desk 30 min prior to checkout, asking if we intended to stay another night. We informed the head of housekeeping that we were leaving and requested a late checkout. She seemed reluctant but agreed. 5 min later we had a knock at the door from the maid, also asking if we were staying over. We told herwe had spoken with her boss and would be later. She rolled het eyes, sighed and stormed off, talking to herself as she left. We could hear her outside the door evey so often complaining that we were making her late. The second the clock hit 12 she ws banging on the door yelling "house keeping" and continued pounding on the door untill I made my way from the sink to the door. She informed me it was time to leave. I told her we would just be a few more min. She said she was going to get the manager.we had been there a week at this point. About a min latet the door began to shake on it's hinges from the manager pounding on it while announcing himself. All our bags eere packed and sitting on the bed. My wife was finishing her makeup. He began to yell at me even though I said we would be only a min or two. I shut the door and let him vent and bang the door until my wife was ready. Then we loaded the truck and drove away less than 5 min after checkout time.
