We enjoyed our stay. We had a powered site no 55 on a lovely green grassed frontage. Loved putting our chairs and table there in the evening when it was a bit cooler. Good facilities and such lovely staff. Stunning setting! You can also hire a kayak from the office and they also stock some grocery items.

The park itself is currently getting some upgrades, I believe, so I’ll go easy- but, for most, it’s nowhere near the $62 per night they charged us for a peered site. That said, we did get a great site close to the river front, which was spectacular. Swimming in the Murray with the kids is one of those special memories that I will always treasure. The park is very much centred around its uninterrupted access to the riverfront and water activities. The camp kitchen was pretty basic- it looks like some cutlery has been stolen and the stove top is slow to heat but adequate. Could do with some crockery. We managed to find 4 bowls but that’s about it. There was a hot dog truck selling $10 hot dogs the first night we were there, and although I thought that’s a bit of a hefty price, the ladies running the van were so lovely that we ended up getting dogs and lemonade anyway… there’s a coffee van in the mornings, and most afternoons there’s an icecream truck that drives around. We had Roos and ducks come to visit early morning and dusk and the amenities were clean and sufficient. Close to Renmark town centre, with its charming steamboats, free bbq facilities next to the water play area. Also major chain stores avail if needed (ie big w) We enjoyed our time in Renmark and at this park, but questioned the pricing, considering the big four up the road with all of their bells and whistles.

Room Tip: Try to book in advance to get a good riverfront site or cabin- that makes the price worth it.

Thanks for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us - despite having a few cost concerns. You're correct in that our Park is getting a few upgrades: 3 Premium Riverfront Cabins went in just before Christmas & this year will see the development of a NEW Camp Kitchen & more powered sites. Our Park is loved for it's natural views & serenity, and resonates with those travellers wanting a traditional experience with Pets Allowed. Those willing to pay more for a resort experience with in-park activities are probably seeking more exhilaration & guest interactions than our relaxing Park. Both offer a great stay for the right guest.

What a great setting near the Paringa Bridge. Well kept grounds. Neat and tidy. Numerous walks at your doorstep. Amenity blocks are of an older style but appear clean. Loads of wildlife both on the water, inthe grounds and the bush nearby. Will definitely return.

Very neat and tidy park right on the Murray. Dog friendly. Safe playground for kids. Bush walks at the rear of the park. A novelty to see kangaroos wandering through the park. Easy manoeuvrability for van parking. We really enjoyed our stay here, relaxing on the Murray.

Very clean park. Clean amenities. Friendly staff. Riverside camps available or drive through flat sites if stopping just for the night. Powered and unpowered. Walk to town if necessary. Competitively priced. Don’t trust Google to take you here. Is just over Renmark side of bridge.

We stayed for a few nights on the river, it was absolutely great, a must if you are staying over night or for a prolonged stay, cannot rate this place highly enough, the staff were happy to answer your questions, you can tell that they like coming to work and the park is just so peaceful, we will definitely be putting this on our list of places to revisit

Nice large grass sites with plenty room close to the river, a 30 minute walk to town. Disappointing facilities, bathroom and bbq were dirty in my opinion. Also found the owner was quiet rude and unfriendly. I’m sure there are nicer caravan parks around..

Thanks for the review, Orla. We're sorry to hear that you didn't quite enjoy your stay. We will pass your feedback onto the Park Managers. We hope you do visit again as we are in the early stage of developing an all NEW Camp kitchen this year as well as extending our powered site availability and building more cabins along the riverfront.
