Sandra & Gary are great hosts & went out of their way to make our stay here at Big Rig a wonderful experience. The park itself is clean, has great facilities and a great communal campfire in the cooler months. Highly recommend a stay here if out this way.

Located close to town and right across the road from the “Big Rig”. The name of the van park and directions is painted on the Tiffin Street side of the fence - so you can’t miss it. Our van site was quite convenient being able to drive through and with a cement slab however that’s about the best thing about the park. We were positioned on a roundabout within the park which was gravel and dust as were most others although another area did have grass. The taps, electricity box and drain for sullage were close. It was handy having 2 exits to drive in/out. They also had Cabins available on site. There was a pool, a BBQ area known as the “The Bull Ring”, a Dump Point outside the ladies toilets (which was a bit smelly at times especially when you were visiting the ladies toilets) and laundry facilities with clothes lines. Amenities were clean but old. Overall, pretty average – a bit tired and ordinary.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Easy booking and friendly check in and check out. Grounds were well maintained. As a family of 4 (2 boys aged 9 & 7) we found this accommodation value for money and perfect for our overnight stay.

Welcome to outback Queensland. Stayed here for one night but you are packed in like sardines I can hear my neighbor fart. May as well stayed in a shoe box house in any capital city absolutely disgusting the way they are packing in the band a money making park next to the big rig. Amenities okay. Have a view of a control box of some sort people walking past every few minutes so dissatisfied

Well set out with tarred road and concrete pads. Nice outlook to park across the road. Good to walk our puppy. Friendly staff. Amenities basic but clean and used the laundry. Camp kitchen was good but busy. Had a swim in the pool, could have been cleaner but was refreshing. Only downside was the heavy sewerage smell at night that permeated the van.
