Despite some difficulty in finding this unit after leaving the freeway It was good to arrive and find that previous Trip Adviser reviewers had rated this unit fairly. After delays on the road on Christmas Eve we arrived after office hours but found our key in the exterior safe using the code that had been sent to us by text during the day. Everything was spotlessly clean and the unit was well equipped for travelling guests. All pieces of cutlery and crockery were matching. The bathroom was large with good quality towels. The air conditioner worked well. The tariff was extremely reasonable for this particular unit
The manager was very helpful and friendly. It’s always nice to feel welcomed. The room we had was the disabled room. It was a lovely room. Very spacious, comfortable bed, well furnished. Everything was in good condition. It had a sink and microwave. It was located behind another building, away from the road so was nice and quiet. It was good value for the area.
I was impressed by this clean, well located, friendly motel. It’s not flash but it’s impressive and more than adequate. It is located directly opposite the hospital and it’s not far to cafes. The queen bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well presented. There’s a small fridge that doesn’t freeze everything as they sometimes do, a microwave, jug and tea and coffee making facilities and crockery and cutlery for two. There’s a wall mounted television for those who want it and adequate room to move. Upstairs you get a bit of an outlook and I suspect that downstairs you’d look on to a close by wall. You need to carry your bags upstairs. Car Parking is adequate but not allocated. Service is friendly.
I stayed at the Nambour Heights Motel while my husband was a patient at the Nambour Selangor Private Hospital. It was about 500 metres walk door to door. The motel was exceptionally clean and comfortable in a simple way. The bed was good, the room was spacious and the little terrace outside was pleasant. There’s a small swimming pool which would be good for young children. The permanent staff and also the couple who were temporarily managing the hotel were all terrific- really kind, friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff deserves special mention due to their care and high standards which were much appreciated ! Not much in the way of food nearby unfortunately. There’s a good Thai place ( closed on Sunday) and an Indian place that does fish and chips and burgers. The other two cafes are not open in the evenings but do good coffee and daytime food. …
