I stayed here with my groomsmen the night before my wedding and they stayed the following night as well. The experience couldn’t have been better! The house is very well equipped and comfortable with room for everyone to have their own space or come together if they wish. There’s a lovely AGA in the kitchen and the utility room has everything you could need. The surrounding area was really nice with shops close by, pubs and beautiful countryside walks. However, it was the hosts Fleur and Paul that really made the stay exceptional. They had first class communication before the stay, answering all questions very promptly and helping us in any way they could. They were in no way intrusive during our stay but we felt they were always on hand if we needed anything

We stayed in Whitehouse cottage which sleeps up to 8 all double beds two have en-suites, two shared a family bathroom also downstairs off utility there’s a bathroom too. The cottage was very well equipped with plenty of utensils and glasses etc, I was impressed the amount of cleaning products available. The cottage was extremely clean and the cottage was nice and cosy. The only thing I would suggest in the main living room is to have another chair or beanbag near the fire, but this didn’t detract from our stay. We thought the hosts with communication were excellent, they recommended nearest park and ride to go into Cambridge during the day. On the evening Fleur’s recommendation, an amazing cocktail cafe bar in st Neots called Betty Bumbles on a Friday and Saturday night the upstairs changes into a cocktail cafe bar . The decor the atmosphere was brilliant, what a great end to our weekend away.…

In Covid times, I wanted somewhere safe to stay, a home from Home, well I found one and some! During my 10 week stay in St Neots, I stayed at 4 of their properties, they were all very well appointed, clean and everthing worked (showers, heating, irons, wi-fi, TVs, cookers, Parking). The "down town" properties at River terrace & Navigation Wharf are literally a 2 minute walk from the centre, with good local shopping including a Waitrose. The Tesco shop (and cheap fuel) is 5 mins by road. Under normal circumstances there are lots of places to eat and drink (maybe next time!). Fleur and Paul run the show, and do so seamlessly. No cumbersome, long winded checkin checkout, and everything as advertised. Finally, I have no hestitation in recommending a stay here, you will not be disappointed. I work as a surveyor, and have stayed in all manor of places, discovering The Whitehouse and associated properties definately goes on the "Hidden Gems" list.…

Just returned from a weekend stay at River Terrace, one of the serviced accommodation that Paul and Fleur offer. Wow, immaculate, house was wonderful, very clean, everything you need for a stay. The river views are fab, fed the swans each morning from the balcony! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area, two mins into St Neots for pubs and cafes. Ideal for a trip into London, which we did for the day. Paul and Fleur are amazing hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Can't wait to visit again.

9 of us stayed at the Whitehouse cottage in early October. The cottage is really well set out with 4 bathrooms, which is extremely helpful with 9 ladies getting ready! Fleur was really welcoming and full of useful suggestions for our stay. We had a lovely walk around Paxton Pits and as we were lucky with the weather we enjoyed an afternoon in the garden at Whitehouse cottage. Thank you Fleur for the recommendation of cocktails at Bertie’s Bar! A definite highlight. When we return we will definitely try Betty Bumbles Vintage Tea rooms. Perfect find for a friends reunion.

Hi Marinella, Many thanks for taking the time to provide us with a review of Whitehouse Cottage. We are really happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and you did get a great weekend with the weather. Berties Bar is a fantastic bar for something different to do in St Neots. It is due to change hand's soon but we have been advised that the plans the new owners have in place will make it a really special place to visit. Hope to see you all sometime in the future. Why not check out one of our properties on the river in the heart of St Neots. Kind regards Fleur and Paul

Really is home from home. Fully equipped kitchen and clean and comfortable rooms. My friend and I were competing in a local triathlon so to be able to prepare our own meals was excellent. We eat outside in the courtyard. The Owner was lovely too and checked we had everything that we needed! There was even half a bottle of wine in the fridge for us!!!

We stayed here over night visiting family down the road. The family booked for us. The couple are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well decorated and clean, the bathroom is modern and tidy. We stayed on the ground floor and when people was in the kitchen you could hear them preparing there Breakfast, this would be fine but at 5am it’s annoying. Wasn’t expecting to make my own breakfast and tidy up after myself for the price. If you want a self contained place then fill your boots but it’s not for me.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of Whitehouse Guesthouse. We are sorry you were disrubed by other guests. We do ask all guests to respect each other when they stay with us. We are not a traditional Guesthouse where you live in with us and we live in with you. The Guesthouse is split up into two self contained cottages with kitchens in both cottages that guests are free to use when they stay with us. Most of our guests find this a real bonus instead of being restricted only to their room. Our guests then have the freedom to have their breakfast when they want instead of the usual 7.30 am breakfast call. . We advertise that breakfast is a help yourself breakfast in the kitchen on our website and also confirm this when you have booked on the welcome email. We also point this out again when you book in showing you where everything is and that you can help yourself at anytime. Kind regards Fleur and Paul

We rented the white house cottage for a long weekend and a family get together. The cottage was absolutely lovely with 5 rooms which were all extremely large , 3 of which had ensuites and the other 2 had use of a family bathroom which was ideal for all of us staying. The 2 living areas and kitchen was perfect for us all and also use of a private garden which kept the children safe whilst they played. Being so close to St Neots Town was really good for us to get into town and supermarkets not too far away. The owners were absolutely lovely and were very approachable if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this cottage and guesthouse.
