Lipstick on the teacup. Took 23 mins from being seated for them to take our tea order. Ham sandwich given when they knew we were Muslim and specifically discussed the vegetarian option. Just got a small sorry. They still added a service charge to the bill. Absolute shambles.

I booked this stay over two years ago, so luckily got a very good price (still just over £200 for one night). I can’t complain about the flexibility with moving my date, I had a wedding to go to locally and with all the lock downs I had to keep moving my stay and the hotel helped out with that nicely. On the downside, I did request a room with a jacuzzi, which I was told by email would not be a problem. I didn’t have a jacuzzi. I also asked for a late check out, again I was told by email this is fine. When I checked in, I was told this is not possible…. The hotel is a little tired, but, it’s a nice old building, however, it was not very clean, my room wasn’t. While in the shower in noticed someone had put a used/dirty plaster stuck to the shower mount coming out the wall! I wasn’t very happy about this, the room obviously didn’t get cleaned that well and with covid and all that, it’s not ideal! Breakfast was ok, that’s why I gave it two star not one… I thought about complaining on check out about my issues but thought, what’s the point? I’m not going to come back and I would expect better from this place, the web site makes out how amazing it is, it’s not though…

We visited this hotel after seeing its "KISS" deal . What a deal it was . Bed breakfast and dinner . The hotel is undergoing some refurbishment but this didnt in anyway effect a truly great visit. Its location is so good for London, Hampton Court, Windsor and numerous other NT sites. I have to mention the food. Absolutly great. 5 star all the way. Of special note is the Hungarian lady restaurant manager who had the knack of making every guest special. Thankyou Also all the front of house, restaurant and bar staff were great I cannot recommend this hotel enough. When the refurbishment is complete and the pool and spa open i willl without doubt turn into a regular quest. Thank you all very much

Stayed her for three nights, Monday to Thursday morning and really really enjoyed it. The room was a joy to stay in, it had an inviting feeling to it. The staff were brilliant, really helpful and simply nice, not pretend nice. The hotel and grounds are just beautiful and a pleasure to wake up to. A small walk to Taplow village if you want a pint or pub meal. I guess I had a company rate but it surprised me as it was better than I often pay in normal boring hotels. Really, really lovely. I don't write many reviews....

Family of 4 visited hotel’s restaurant last Sunday for lunch. Limited menu which was initially disappointing but actually food was very good and beautifully presented. All chose different things; vegetarian, steak and chicken all very enjoyable . Would definitely recommend dining here in pleasant setting , attentive and friendly staff , with lovely outside gardens to sit in afterwards. Understand hotel is having major refurbishment and spa should be completed by next spring so will make sure I visit then for a different experience then
