Miltos, Helena and Dionysus were all very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was buffet style offering a varying selection from croissants, cheese pie, cereals, toast yoghurt fruit and more. There was also al a carté if wanted. Bar food during day and evening was excellent, pizzas were delightful. Our room was 1 bedroom junior suite which was very clean and overlooked the pretty gardens. Air conditioning included in price, towels and room kept very clean during our stay too. The pool area had comfy sun beds and relaxing music was played at the bar. Although the Villa was in a rural location it was about 10-15 minutes relaxing stroll from main road for bus if wanted and 5-10 mins to beach. Thank you to Helena and Miltos for a wonderful week and hope to see you again.

This is a very well laid-out park in the woods with several well maintained buildings with a large pool and all day open bar with snacks. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The studio was fine, we enjoyed staying there sitting outside in the woods. We ordered a car for a cheap price just one hour after arrival, and the whole island with its nice beaches and great seaside restaurants (especially Seferi !) laid at our feet. Service is friendly and professional. The breakfast was good. We would come back.

Off the beaten track with no outside noise and loads of space around the grounds & pool which has the sun on it all day perfect if you just want to do nothing. A bit dated here and there but very clean, a car is needed if you want to get around a bit more as it's about 15 minute walk uphill downhill just to the main road.

Miltos the owner is a nice fella and is very good at doing his thing, his family and extended family members are there more or less all day on the complex as well, it was only about 30% full when we were there due to Covid and a couple of days we had the pool literally all to ourselves.

The whole Covid thing did kind of rub off on us after a while we were there as you got the feeling they couldn't be bothered and didn't want to be there sometimes which was a bit of a shame I'm sure there would a different feel to the place if it was busier.

The owner was a lovely guy very friendly on arrival and couldn’t do enough. Gave daughter free cocktail but put it on tab ! But the place in daylight in very dated. The hill to the hotel is advertised as a bit steep really not for the unhealthy it’s a real hard slog. The pathway to the beach a mountain trek downhill quite dangerous in places. The drain in our bathroom absolutely stank the bathroom out to the point where I had to use the public loo because the smell was disgusting at times. To be honest he offered us another room but it was our last night. My daughter got ill with bug(not from hotel) so I asked for some toast which I was charged 5 euros for 2 crust ends of bread. Our check out was at 10.30am pick up for flight was 7pm so went to beach for the day when returned asked if there was a shower room to wash and change told no use the sink in toilet as no spare rooms even though it was only quarter full. The young waiter bar man was lovely chap. Deffo not returning

My husband and I have just returned from Villa Christina.
We needed a relaxing break and this didn't disappoint. We were very well looked after by Deo (apologies for the spelling) I think he was Helena's and Miltos son.
The accommodation was clean and poolside was spotless set in beautiful gardens.
We had a double studio, pool side 404, fantastic location, which had everything we needed for a week,
towels and toilet rolls changed/replenished daily.
Villa Christina is located at the top of a hill, this was the only negative thing I could say, walking down is no problem but back up for an over weight, older lady with angina in the heat was a killer, we did it once, but caught taxi's up the rest of the time (for those fit people it wouldn't be a problem though, lots of joggers and walkers) We jumped on a bus to Touros beach, Koukounaries and Skiathos Town, but the full island is doable by the bus which runs every 10 minutes 2 euros most ways, bus stop 13 (only 26 the full island) at the bottom of the hill.
We ate at Villa Christina a few times, I can say one of the best pizzas we've ever had, club sandwiches greek salad and and carbonara very nice.
I've read some not nice reviews about Helena on here and I would say please IGNORE, this lady is genuine and very funny. I really warmed to her and she works incredibly hard. Anyone can be a keyboard warrior.
We loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend.
Thank you Helena and family xx

I have had a wonderful stay in Villa Christina. All workers are kind and go the extra mile. My room has been cleaned throughly daily and I had a lovely balcony with a fantastic view.

I have been coming to Skiathos for many years and this is by far the nicest place I have stayed.

Please ignore comments complaining about the hospitality and rooms, my findings have been that many guests do not seem to read into the Villas exact location before booking. Yes there is a 15 min walk but it is really not that difficult if you are able and is actually nice to walk off a big meal. The bus stop is just at the bottom of the road as is the shop, but there is no need to carry heavy things such as bottles of water as they sell bulk packs at the Villa bar. The walk to the beach is also most pleasant.

I travelled solo this year and it’s been wonderful to sit at the bar and chat with Miltos, Helena and Dion on the evenings. I felt very safe in this accommodation, the area is quiet and peaceful at night time.

I will absolutely be returning!

This is an absolute little gem of a place, we stayed in a studio for 3 which was very spacious and clean with fridge toaster kettle cutlery and pans ect hairdryer and air con which you didn't have to pay for, we had a large terrace area with table and 3 chairs we walked out into a nice size pool area which was cleaned every day and kept spotless and plenty of sunbeds. The bar area was beautiful with all the lights and again spotless the tables where you eat your meals was dressed amazing and looked very elegant beside the beautiful pool. Eleanor and staff was very polite and couldn't do enough for you, they made you feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The food and drinks was excellent and reasonable priced your glass came out of the freezer for a beer which was excellent the hot weather. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh bedding towels and toilet paper. The grounds was kept immaculate and looked so pretty with all the flowers and greenery which looked amazing as you walked through the gates it looked very tranquil and peaceful as its set at the top of a well lit winding road its about a 20 minute walk down to the bus stop 13 where you can catch a bus to go anywhere on the island so probably not appropiate if you have mobility problems. We will deffinately return and it's hard to believe its only a 3 star when you get 5 star treatment. Thanks again villa christina and all the staff.

Stayed here for a week, the staff were all very friendly and approachable. We had a one bedroom appartment , massive balcony, comfy bed, free aircon, good shower pressure, hot water, white soft towels and a safe in the wardrobe. The villa was very clean and garden well looked after, pool was lovely and nice bar area. Yes its up a hill, we did our research ! Advise stocking up in the shop down on the main road and get a taxi back cost 6 euros and its worth it. Bus stop 13 at bottom of hill , cheap regular service. Path is quickest way to nearest beach its a dirt track and steep in places , took 15 mins. Beach is lovely, fine sand,a qiute area and a busy side where the bar and resturant is, lots of sun beds cost 10 euros for 2 sunbeds & umbrella for day.Other beaches easy to get to by bus.
We had a great time at the villa, special thanks to Miltos and Eleaner .

Positives: amazing peaceful setting, spotless gardens, lovely pool, plenty of decent comfy sunbeds, large bedrooms, lovely bar and terrace and great beer. (Best I had on the island, 4€)

Negatives: bedroom furniture needs updating, bathrooms need modernising, coffee disappointing and pricy, food service slow and buffet breakfast overpriced. Were times during the day where the bar was unmanned which was frustrating.

Location: up a steep hill but was expecting this as I fully researched. 15 mins to walk to bus stop 13 and a decent variety of restaurants. (Jonny's and Infinity Blue being the best) We hired a car and in my opinion essential. Walk to beach is just 10 mins through the pine forest. Bit steep but ok. Another beach Diamanti and the one near Jonny's were amazing too (similar distance). In fact all the beaches in Skiathos are great.

Overall: could easily have been 5* but for a few niggles as mentioned. Owners could have been a little more attentive. Costs nothing to smile!! The young lad behind the bar was the opposite, always smiling, top service and even found me the golf to watch. Will miss my early evening beer and complimentary nuts and crisps.

I don't generally leave reviews but feel I need to on this one. There are a few negatives for me for Villa Cristina.

The walk down the lane is a short 20 minute walk, it was pleasant enough but the walk back up was difficult and I consider myself to be fit and healthy, the short walk to the beach through the forest was also doable for myself but there were members of my party that wouldn't have made it down or up. Obviously there is an option for taxis but would definitely recommend car hire if you're travelling with children or less able adults.

The rooms were a bit outdated and could have been a little bit cleaner.

BUT

Villa Christina is located in a beautiful setting and has beautiful gardens, for me if Villa Cristina could be picked up and put in a beach side location it would be my go to place.

The food at Villa Cristina is absolutely amazing and Helenas pizzas are beautiful 😋

I also disagree with the comments about Helana being rude, she was very accommodating , She has a very dry sense of humour, which should be taken lightly. The barman Dio was also very accommodating.

Overall, if we had hired a car it would have made our holiday a lot better but that's our problem for not taking notice of the hotels description.
