A perfect location right outside of the park. I had a cabin with electricity/AC - it had a nice front veranda where you can have morning coffee. It also was very quiet- I may have lucked out with a cabin down a side "road" from the main "road" in the complex (so it might be worth requesting that if campground noise bothers you). The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Litchfield Tourist Park excellent park plenty of shady sites to choose from which were spacious. Amenities were exceptionally clean and showers were hot with good water pressure. Staff were amazing so helpful and friendly. Recommend having lunch there we had burgers but beware they are very big and very delicious. Park is close to town of Bachelor around a 15 minute drive and Florence Falls were around a 20 minute drive away. Highly recommend this park.

We had two bungalows in The Litchfield Tourist Park for one night. The rooms had tv sets, dishes and a microwave but no stovetop. Also no internet. The restaurant in the park is not open for dinner but they were open for breakfast in the morning.

I booked the 2 bedroom cabin with bathroom and it’s just so cute! The outside Walls look like stone (plastic stone!) and has a large table and chairs with a great bbq that we’ve just cooked up a lovely bbq dinner overlooking the gardens.
The bedrooms are lovely, you can tell the owners and have thought about the decor making it a little bit Country but with lovely fresh white linen.
There’s an outside shower that out daughter used half the wet season water to wash her hair “it’s so cool I’m outside” !! There’s also an inside shower for those not comfortable with showering al fresco.
There’s a little kitchen with an Australian flag splash back and everything you need for a couple of nights. Could you sharpen the carving knife?!
We had a walk and the caravan sites are beautiful, grass and bushes to seperate you and views onto fields with a few wallabies.
The man who checked us in must have been an owner because he was so lovely and took his time to explain the site even though it was clock off time, you can also buy ice cold beers, wine and ginger beer which is welcome after a day at all the beautiful nearby waterfalls.
Wish we could stay longer but we will be back!

Returning to Litchfield after ten years found the Litchfield park itself to be dismal. But the caravan park, although the sites are pleasant which include mossies day and night, the amenities are disgusting, untended and dirty. They seem to have people running around doing things but toile cleaning very much lacking and also minimal in numbers. Will try one of the others next time

We spent 1 night here and would love to have stayed for longer. We were in a self contained cabin that was very modern and had a great balcony to sit with a drink and watch the kangaroos, the bed and pillows were also really comfortable. Alice checked us in and was just lovely, she has a great personality and smile to match. We had the veggie and big breakfast the next morning and they were both delicious and huge. This place is great value for money and if we are ever in the area again we will be staying for more than one night. It is a great stopover if you are going to Litchfield National Park so do yourself a favour and stay here.

Our family of 2 adults and 2 children (8 and 5) stayed for 3 nights in one of the 2 bedroom villas. The location is perfect and so close to the national park where we spent our days swimming in water lagoons and water falls and experiencing the beautiful surrounds. The villa was comfortable and perfect for our family and situated in an abundance of trees which felt like we were secluded in a rain forest. We loved coming home from a day of travel to cool off in the pool. The best part was the friendly people running the tourist park who were always happy for a chat and to help. We would highly recommend this place to stay.

We recently enjoyed three nights in a cabin. Totally relaxing in a beautiful environment. Great nights sleep, enjoyed the outdoor shower and pool at the end of a day touring the national park. All the staff we met were so friendly and passionate about what they do. Great coffee which went down well each morning. We didn’t want to leave!!

Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful well-maintained, clean grounds and a great spot to stay for exploring Litchfield. The park has a huge grassy area and you can go for a wander up the back and check out the Finniss River which runs along the back of the property. It also abuts a farm with horses and cattle. Unfortunately we were there during lockdown and the cafe was closed, it looked very inviting and we would have enjoyed a meal there.
This would have been a 'Very Good' except for the size of the cabin (there are bigger ones to choose from). Although very clean, it was small inside with only a bed (very comfortable), small kitchen area but with a huge deck. The deck is where you ate your meals and there is also a BBQ for cooking on, you can order BBQ packs from reception, plus mozzie coils are provided. It was very nice sitting on the deck for breakfast and dinner.
Would stay here again, but book a bigger cabin.
