Cheap but it comes with a price. Saw some cockroaches the moment I entered the bathroom. Also, ANTS! We informed the front desk about this and asked the room to be cleaned. The room was clean when we got back but the ants were still present.
This is one of the two hotels in Roxas City allowed to operate in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, I expected it to be really clean, but it was not. There were small cockroaches on the bedside console and the shower room stank of urine. It's a good thing they allowed me to change room. As to the rooms, they were equipped with basic facilities ... bed, console, TV set, airconditioning, private toilet and shower room, phone, etc. Water pressure was okay, as well as the heating system. However, the walls were quite thin and you can hear all the noises from the adjacent rooms. The linens (bed sheet and towels) were also not very clean. The common areas, specifically the lobby and the outdoor café, on the other hand, looked very nice. There's also a small restaurant near the main entrance. There's a small parking space for hotel guests, too. WIFI is available in the rooms, but sometimes it is weak. This hotel is budget-friendly. Rate for standard rooms varies from Php 1,100 to Php 1,300. Executive and suite rooms cost Php 5,000 and Php 6,500 respectively. All in all this hotel is okay, but don't expect it to be immaculately clean. Hotel personnel is also very limited on Sundays, forcing the security guard to do multi-tasking. …
We stayed here during a family event and coming from Manila, they accommodated our early check in request which was great. Room was cozy and had the basics we needed. The food was also delicious not to mention very affordable. It will take you a few steps from the hotel to the pool but this was not a problem for us since we didn’t get the chance to swim. Nonetheless, this would be my hotel of choice if we go back to Roxas again.
Poor quality in everything. They should improved their hotel staff and room. We regret staying in this hotel. Don’t ask for an extra pillow they charged 50/day, won’t be staying here if I return to roxas
The lobby and exterior did not look inviting but when you see the insides and the room, it was indeed a pleasant surprise! For the room rate, it was a good deal! The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff were nice and helpful. It also had a small pool but too bad we both had our period then. It could have been superb!
Standard Room at P1,500 is not bad, BUT disappointing. For that amount, I could get a better room from another hotel. This is the nth time that I visited Roxas, but someone convinced me that I should try this new hotel. My mistake was, I did not bother to open their website to check first. The place is clean YES, but my room is very small. But what really bothers me is that, IT HAS NO CLOSET, NO HANGERS TO HANG MY CLOTHES! Toiletries means, a couple of soap and shampoo, but no toothbrush and toothpaste which I could get from that other hotel near Robinsons where I usually stay when I am in Roxas. There's a couple of small tables (without a chair) where you can put your laptop, and by pulling it close to your bed, one can sit at the foot of the bed to be able to work. But it can get so uncomfortable, strains your back after several minutes of staying in that sitting position without nothing to lean on. Positive side. Sheets are clean and immaculately white. This place is very new; the lobby looks elegant. Room rate is not inclusive of breakfast but they have a fancy-looking restaurant where you can buy your meals. I have not tried eating there yet, so I can't say if the food there is reasonably priced.…
