Rate is affordable. Our room is spacious and clean. Location is just across the market. The manager and the hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. I would surely recommend to others and will stay again in this hotel if I will be back.

Booked a room 2 weeks before our trip and a day before of our arrival, we advised them that we will be arriving the next day since we got stranded at Caticlan Port due to heavy rain and bad weather. And the frontdesk Kat informed that since we booked it we need to pay the first night that we reserved even though we wasn't able to avail it. This management doesn't know what Force majeure is and dont have considerations even though we advised them that we stayed already on their hotel last March and we want to come back since we enjoyed our stay. Who wants to pay for a room that you haven't used or availed? We decided not to stay anymore and seems they preferred to cancel my reservation rather than letting us stay for the rest of 2 nights since we booked for 3 nights. Will never come back on this Hotel, such a huge disappointment.

A great place to stay away from home. Small place but with a huge of pleasing staffs to make you feel comfortable despite the distance with your family. Aside from the hospitality of its crews, it also had sumptuous food with reasonable cost... see you again Mercedes :)

The rooms are clean, the reception area attractive and the staff friendly. Very small parking lot at the back of the hotel, maybe good for about 6 cars or so. This hotel has an eating place at the roof top too so when they do have a lot of business there it is hard to get a parking space. Very close to the public market so during the daytime there is a lot of traffic.

They big cut of rooms wherein you can still add 2-3 foams if you are a group. Affordable rates as well. Food? They have a rooftop resto which is relaxing at night with affordable meals and they also serve drinks. Whats best? Just a few meters away from Lipunan Market where in you will find the bounty of the seas of Capiz, hailed as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines. You can get yourself a slab of tangigue an expensive fish for p50-60 and have it cooked outside, just ask for the resto to cook it for you and pay, but eat the food there and buy rice and drinks as well. Best time to get you fresh seafoods, time starts at 4am - 6am where the price is much lower compare to 4pm - 7pm. Hotel Mercedes has also wifi and trikes pass by the hotel so you can stop them and go to Baybay where there are also seafoods. It is also beside Gaisano Mall where there are affodable items to shop with.

Apparently a new well located hotel open for about one year. They are completing a large rooftop terrace restaurant/bar which if done properly could indeed become one of the places where to eat/hang out in Roxas. As far as the rooms are concerned the one I had side side (surprisingly on an architectural point of view there is unfortunately no river side room but there are street side rooms which I would avoid unless you use earplugs) was quite spacy. It would have been smart to reduce the bedroom size by 2 sq meters to add it to a tiny tiny bathroom (with well functioning shower and hot water). The room was clean with cable tv and semi noisy wall type (not split) aircon. No fridge. A painting on the wall to put a bit of colour which is not always the case in such level establishments. But NO BEDSIDE LAMP meaning get up to turn off light when you precisely start falling asleep. Annoying! Do not expect any cosiness or character. At 1800 pesos (rack price) breakfast not included for the quiet "large" side side room a relatively good deal I guess. As far as breakfast was concerned, disappointing. But at their discharge the kitchen had just been opened so they should be given a couple of month of practice. This will eventually be the challenge: quality food and beverage to retain patrons. Good luck to the nice couple owning the place!

I stayed 7 nights on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the river. The hotel is new and spacious - the stairs/corridors are wide, the room is spacious and comfortable, etc. There is ample ventilation for fllow-through of air. Location is central - near the market, near Gaisano Market Place and public transport is right in front of the hotel. They are currently finishing a resto roof deck which should be done early Jan 2017 - something to look forward to! I recommend this hotel.
