I was able to have my first booked room in a resort experience here at San Antonio Resort last 2019. Me and my friends got a room with 2 beds. We chose that room since it has its own little veranda where you can spend a snack or a cup of coffee. The room is facing tall trees of coconut. It also gives you a fresh ocean salty breeze since the Baybay beach is just across the road. We didn't stay much in the room since we chose to walk around. The resort has a lake where you can rent a boat and paddle on your own. The pool is also by the lake, which is a great view. We had enjoyed the night swimming. The next morning, we had a great buffet breakfast. Staffs are friendly and nice. Although places like this is a great venue for relaxation, it still has a lot to improve. Now, the resort has built a new building and new rooms and longer pool area, which I hope I can visit and stay soon.…
I was there for a wedding in 2015 and it was the greatest resort and the staff that did the wedding were excellent could not fault anything from the decorations to the food . If on Roxas you have to go and have a stay, spend some time at the Pool side bar and in the pool it is beautiful
It was a last minute decision to go to Roxas City and we decided to stay in this resort for a night because it was recommended by a friend. But our stay was quite a disappointment. The only good thing about this resort is the new swimming pool - right temperature, varied depths, modern design. The kids enjoyed it very much. But... 1. Front desk people are not very welcoming. It was quite hard to look for someone to help you out coz they kept on looking down to their computers. Check-in FO asked if I already know about the resort. It was an odd question for a guest. Check-out was also a mess - there were only 2-3 guests at the desk but I had to wait for more than 15minutes to be assisted. Their radio was too loud and you can hear their conversations, which was quite inappropriate for a hotel lobby. The management needs to create a relaxing ambience in the lobby. 2. The superior room is old and very outdated. There were too many mosquitoes in our room when we entered. The bathroom was too small. The water heater was not working. They charge for additional towels. The beds were too hard. The TV was set up too high that it felt like we’re in a hospital room. The curtains are not dark enough - the morning light penetrates thru the layers of curtains which i find very annoying. There was no door rag outside the room, so expect a lot of dirt/sand on the floor if you bring in your shoes/slippers. 3. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement. Options are very limited and they don’t replenish the food as often as needed. 4. I did not see any smiles among their staff. It’s as if they’re not happy with their jobs. The management needs to look into the working environment of their people coz when the employees are happy, making the guests happy will be a breeze.…
We had room 101 and it was infested with Mosquitos because the entrance door had a gap of one inch or more. All we could smell was Cat pee in the room and outside the room. Shower and tiles were filled with mold. The bed cover was stained and just nasty. The pool was over clorinated with powdered clorine on the pool sides.
