I have stayed here a few times while visiting family in Roxas and the #1 reason is excellent customer service. My wife and I decided to stay in the newest part of the resort , however, the internet had a poor signal due to the router location. When I asked the manager (Fanny) to help us she immediately moved us to room with a much better signal. The newer rooms are very nicely made up with comfortable beds and a modern style shower. The pool area is a great area to relax, have some light food and drinks plus the staff are very friendly. Hopefully the new pool will be up and running the next time we visit.

Mabuhay, J4538CSgarym! Thank you for taking the time to provide us a 5-star review. We are beyond delighted that you keep us in mind on your visits in Roxas City. We are happy that you found comfort in the room in our new building, the Capiz Building. And although the Wi-Fi did not meet your expectations, our staff - particularly Fanny, has compensated well into turning around this rather negative experience. We will ensure that she is commended for her rendered service. Thank you for commending the friendliness of our staff and the highlighting the ambiance of the pool area. Warmest regards, -Carmel Ortiz, Managing Director for Hotel Operations

I was able to have my first booked room in a resort experience here at San Antonio Resort last 2019. Me and my friends got a room with 2 beds. We chose that room since it has its own little veranda where you can spend a snack or a cup of coffee. The room is facing tall trees of coconut. It also gives you a fresh ocean salty breeze since the Baybay beach is just across the road. We didn't stay much in the room since we chose to walk around. The resort has a lake where you can rent a boat and paddle on your own. The pool is also by the lake, which is a great view. We had enjoyed the night swimming. The next morning, we had a great buffet breakfast. Staffs are friendly and nice. Although places like this is a great venue for relaxation, it still has a lot to improve. Now, the resort has built a new building and new rooms and longer pool area, which I hope I can visit and stay soon.

I was there for a wedding in 2015 and it was the greatest resort and the staff that did the wedding were excellent could not fault anything from the decorations to the food . If on Roxas you have to go and have a stay, spend some time at the Pool side bar and in the pool it is beautiful

It was a last minute decision to go to Roxas City and we decided to stay in this resort for a night because it was recommended by a friend. But our stay was quite a disappointment. The only good thing about this resort is the new swimming pool - right temperature, varied depths, modern design. The kids enjoyed it very much. But... 1. Front desk people are not very welcoming. It was quite hard to look for someone to help you out coz they kept on looking down to their computers. Check-in FO asked if I already know about the resort. It was an odd question for a guest. Check-out was also a mess - there were only 2-3 guests at the desk but I had to wait for more than 15minutes to be assisted. Their radio was too loud and you can hear their conversations, which was quite inappropriate for a hotel lobby. The management needs to create a relaxing ambience in the lobby. 2. The superior room is old and very outdated. There were too many mosquitoes in our room when we entered. The bathroom was too small. The water heater was not working. They charge for additional towels. The beds were too hard. The TV was set up too high that it felt like we’re in a hospital room. The curtains are not dark enough - the morning light penetrates thru the layers of curtains which i find very annoying. There was no door rag outside the room, so expect a lot of dirt/sand on the floor if you bring in your shoes/slippers. 3. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement. Options are very limited and they don’t replenish the food as often as needed. 4. I did not see any smiles among their staff. It’s as if they’re not happy with their jobs. The management needs to look into the working environment of their people coz when the employees are happy, making the guests happy will be a breeze.

We had room 101 and it was infested with Mosquitos because the entrance door had a gap of one inch or more. All we could smell was Cat pee in the room and outside the room. Shower and tiles were filled with mold. The bed cover was stained and just nasty. The pool was over clorinated with powdered clorine on the pool sides.

stay at this resort for the hospitality and service of its staff - very accommodating and helpful. .the resort is also near the airport. Choices for dining are many - aside from the hotel, there are nearby places that serve good food.

Place is perfect to all seafood areas in baybay. Seafoods are also pricey just almost the same price at Dampa in Araneta and MOA. San Antonio Resort is the best place to visit. Staff were all friendly. Free buffet breakfast. Need to pay for extra person. Drinking water is limitted only. Kettle is available but No free coffee and tea. Bring your own coffee if you need.

It's generally OK as 2-3 star motels go. However we were given an (upgraded yet!) room right on the main road. HORRIBLE! THE WORST! Every truck, motorcycle, car, every slammed car door -- it takes place as if right in your room. Its beyond description torture if trying to sleep. I'm an experienced traveler, look me up, I even had ear plugs but they just reduced the incessant noise slightly. How DARE they rent out such rooms without so much as a warning? Its fraud and deception. There are rows of rooms out back but we just noticed them and were not offered one. Breakfast sucks: It's cold fried fish (ugh!) and a chopped up hot dog plus eggs. This place had best rating in TripAdvisor which is why we came here after getting off the ferry from Batangas exhausted from the 15-hour trip. We came to sleep! What a joke. FIND ANOTHER PLACE avoid San Antonia "resort" -- its just a motel with a swimming pool and bad resto. There is a beach across the main road but not very welcoming.

We have stayed in their old rooms before and good to find out that they have a new wing already. Everything was clean and new . They have lap pool and kiddie pool also. In terms of service , they need to improve a lot and still lacking of good training on how to handle and accommodate their guests. Their rooms should have more hangers on the cabinets since they only have one hanger per room. If you ask for pool towel they will ask you additional charge for that . For that rate of 3,500.00 per night , they don’t give you free tea and coffee in your room like in the usual hotels. request of pillows, they charge for additional also. If you’re a morning person , you can walk on the beach just across the hotel. Different seafood resto are just around too, where you can also walk going there. Gaisano capital is just 500m away , tricycle are available anytime. Their cafeteria are open at 6:30 yet, so in case you want to have some coffee early in the morning , the front desk will point you out in 7-11 which is only beside their hotel.

Hotel looks good from the outside but when you are paying a higher price you expect good service and things to work. At check-in my wife was treated rudely by a woman with a very offhand and unhelpful manner who just pointed us generally in the direction of our room. We needed to go back to reception to ask help to find our cottage an where to park. No help with bags or settling in to the room. And in the morning we found the hot water didn't work and in our friends room the phone was not working. We wont be back.
