This is a budget friendly hotel in a good location. The breakfast was good and the hotel seem clean. Our room was large and had good lighting. I would stay here again. The only reason for the 4 rating is that the pool was unavailable.
The hotel is somewhat hard to find since there are no big signs allowed and it is on an odd divided highway. The driveway was very steep. must be tough in winter. staff was pleasant and check in was quick. The room was standard. clean and well lit there was a clean and comfortable bed The bathroom was clean, but i though the toilet was placed in odd position kinda crammed in the corner. there was a big TV No real view except parking lot They had no computer for guest use which was unusual for a big hotel breakfast was fine. real hot food to order.
The check in was quick and friendly. The room was clean, and quiet. Our room was on 1st floor near exit door to parking lot. The smoker's hang out there for the smoke free facility...that was the only noise from outside we heard while they gathered to smoke. The breakfast was good, orders are taken and filled promptly. Most of the regular breakfast bar items available. The beds were o.k. appears remodel work is ongoing at the is location with updating. Would stay here again. Outback Steak House is 2 buildings away. Sunny Rock is close too!
We stayed here last year and had such a wonderful experience. The hotel had a dated/lodge feel, but that’s what I liked about it, since were in the mountains. Flash forward one year later. We arrived at almost 5 pm and it took us about 20 mins to walk to the door as there was ice EVERYWHERE. Once inside, they did a remodel, but not in the hotels favor. It’s now white, silver and cheap looking. The halls even have a cheap Carpet with slabs of another neon blue carpet in front of each door. When we checked in the front desk man was less then welcoming. He told us (2 families total) that our rooms weren’t ready because the dryer broke and housekeeping was behind. We had to wait and we were not happy as we had spent the day tubing in the snow and just wanted a hot shower. When we finally got up to our room, a group of housekeepers were standing around the hall. They told us they were just finishing our room. About half of them did not have masks on. When we got into our room there were only 2 bath towels and one facecloth (were a family of 3, our friends were a family of 5) I ran out to ask the housekeeping staff if we could have more towels and they said the towels are all drying and they would bring them up later... well I guess that eliminates taking a hot shower after snow tubing all afternoon! Our friends had a suite and neither of there TV’s worked. When we went down to let the front desk (Manager?) he just kind of laughed and said that spectrum would be there on Monday. When we went back up to their room after dinner, neither TV was working in their suite. The 2 husbands went down to the desk AGAIN and maintenance miraculously fixed both of the TV’s. Around 9pm we got 2 more towels. Never again, HI!! *Ive enclosed photos of the icy parking lot because the next morning when we checked out, it was STILL a sheet of ice. I hope no one fell on it.…
Me and my daughter chose this hotel to stay at while on our ski vacation, primarily because it has a large indoor pool! We arrive to find the pool closed for maintenance. No advance notice given. Our room was on the first floor near the back entrance. Apparently this is where all of the smokers hang out, on the smoke free property! They would lean up against our window and had loud conversations. I would call the front desk and they would run off the smokers each time...Then the second night a group decided to have a party in the parking lot until 1 am. Front desk didn't help break this up.
