Albergo is the perfect hotel for a ski vacation. It has a wonderful cozy atmosphere, is located within a 5 min drive to the mountain and offers the most delicious homemade breakfast in a beautiful sun lit room. The beds and linens are very comfortable, and the staff is wonderful. we are repeat customers and will keep coming.

We found a cozy restaurant for breakfast in the Albergo Allegria Hotel in Windham. The food and service are excellent. Not your typical breakfast menu, you won’t be disappointed. I had the Catskill mountain Duffle. It was awesome . Highly recommended

My husband and I took a trip to the Catskills to see the Fall colors. The Albergo Allergria was a beautiful place to stay to venture out in the mountains. Lesley and Marianna were perfect hosts and their breakfast, especially the cinnamon nut coffee cake, were delicious. Coffee and a great selection of teas were available all day and into the evening. Their two sons were delightful to speak with during breakfast and offered great advice on what to see in the Catskills. I would highly recommend this place to stay during your visit to the Catskills.

My daughter and I stayed at the Albergo Allegria for a quick weekend getaway. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the room was comfortable and very clean, and the breakfasts were delicious! I highly recommend this establishment!

This is a kind of homey place that needs a little TLC. Although there are plenty of space in a chest of drawers there is very little space to hang cloths in the armoire and no closet. We were in room 21 and it provided plenty of space however, the bifold doors between the living space and bathroom above the whirlpool would not stay closed and therefore provided no privacy while using the toilet. The baseboard heaters were inoperable although we had an eclectic fireplace with a fan. The porches needed painting and the wallpaper needed repairs in several locations. The room was clean and would have been quiet had the construction next door not been ongoing. The one breakfast we had was excellent. We only had one breakfast since they do not serve breakfast on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and we arrived on a Monday.…

Thank you for your honest review! I am pleased you enjoyed several elements of your stay and saddened others we not up to our standards. Our multi-porch refinishing project was completed for all porches on the property; it had to be scheduled at a time that would not interfere with guests' stays since fantastic fall foliage beckons guests to enjoy the outdoor porches this time of year. After bringing it to our attention, maintenance will attend to the privacy shutter on that unit and the wallpaper needing attention was taken care of. Regarding construction noise, we have contacted our neighbors multiple times to please be considerate; we too are sorry for their ongoing projects, and they are almost at completion. We invite you back to see the updates and if there is anything we can address to make your stay more enjoyable, please let us know right away. Our goal is for your time at Albergo Allegria to be wonderful in every way.

Highly recommend this hotel as the innkeepers are very experienced so you’re every need is anticipated. Loaded with charm in a great location for exploring the area. The breakfast restaurant has an excellent menu prepared by the innkeeper who is a trained chef. Eat there if you’re in the area even if you don’t stay there.

Our first time back in a few years, we moved to FL, so we came back for a vacation. we stayed in room 21, we like this room it's at the end and most of the time very quiet. The rooms are always spotless and well kept. We liked the fact that the pull-out bed was gone, and a table and chairs replaced it. Breakfast was always very good well now it's even better. Everything is so fresh and when you leave you have a meal that will last you until dinner. If you are looking for a very nice place with great owners and staff, make this your next stop. Came here a few times recently for breakfast. Everything was fantastic ! The ambiance is lovely and relaxing. The food had next level ingredients without being overly complicated - yet still super filling portions. They really go the extra mile with plating too! Highly recommend staying or eating here if you get a chance !!

We have been coming here for at least 20 years..We love the place. We were just here two days ago.
