My husband and I stayed at this very nice B&B for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Our room, the Tupper Suite, had a view of the lake as well as a pretty tree with fall colors. The room was nicely updated with an extremely comfy bed and huge shower, and was very quiet and clean. Hosts Russ and Lori were friendly and helpful, and breakfasts were very tasty. The B&B was well located for our visits to the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, as well as a day trying out nearby wineries. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved this place! Lori and Russ are friendly and helpful, and we had a fantastic time. This house was built in the 1830s, and the rooms (we stayed in the Tupper Suite) are absolutely beautiful. Not only are the interiors charming and cozy, but there is a zen garden, patio with a perfect view of Lake Erie, and in the back a vineyard. Russ makes gourmet breakfasts on par with that of an upscale restaurant. In short, we were blown away, and cannot wait to return!
The Barcelona Lakeside B & B was the perfect place to stay! The grounds were beautiful, the house was both welcoming and festively decorated for Halloween, our room was cozy, the charcuterie board we ordered was huge, locally sourced, and tasty, breakfast was delicious, and the owners (Russ & Lori) were fantastic hosts and the perfect team! They gave us recommendations for local wineries to visit (we loved Johnson's estate!) and even helped put air in a flat tire-- really great people! We will definitely be visiting again!!!
Hospitality, room, and breakfasts were great. Advice from Russ on local activities and restaurants and his information on the history of the region, on the building, and on grape harvesting was much appreciated and informative. Location between Lake Erie and vineyards provides great scenery and an environment for relaxation.
When I asked my husband what he’d like for his birthday he said he’d like to return to the Barcelona Lakeside B&B. This was our 4th time staying here-our prior stays had been due to a family reunion each 4th of July. I guess it’s pretty obvious that we enjoy it. The location & the house itself are lovely-Lori & Russ are great hosts! Russ gave us some helpful suggestions for dining & entertainment. There are also some nice wineries to explore & it’s near Chautauqua Lake & the Institute. It’s about 40 minutes from the Lucille Ball museum (in Jamestown) & the National Museum of Comedy-very entertaining. The breakfasts were delish! We highly recommend it,
