Great location for visiting Greenough village. Beautiful gardens and plenty of space. Main cottage was perfect for our little group, with plenty of space inside and out for relaxing and entertaining ourselves. The room in the main house was spacious and perfectly clean, and the bed was brilliantly comfortable. Beth was super helpful and a delightful host. It was a pleasure to stay here.
My family and I stopped over at Bentwood Olive Grove overnight, on our drive home from Exmouth. It was the perfect stopover, giving us a well earned break from the long drive home. The owners Beth and Richard have a lovely property, with self contained cottages, surrounded by expansive gardens and a large olive grove. The two-bedroom cottage we had was very well furnished and stocked, as well as cosy and comfortable. The added bonus to our stay was a free olive oil tasting straight from the press. I regret only paying for one bottle as Richard's oil is super-tasty. I'm sure we'll be back again when we make our next trek up north.
Beautiful house, beautiful surrounds, peaceful and serene. We stayed in the main house which is stunning. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were more than satisfactory. The olive grove looks beautiful at sunrise and the whole property is lovely. The only downside is the complete cut-off from the outside world as there is no signal, no phone or wi-fi on the property unless you walk down to the fence, you might get a bar or two. Otherwise, absolutely perfect if you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay for a day or two.
The location close to Geraldton was set well off the road and was very quiet and secure. The accommodation was simply outstanding with so many personal touches seen in the decor, and the quality of furniture/bedding second to none. You could not help but to feel comfortable, safe and lucky to be able to enjoy the homely warmth of the "home". Its always the little touches that make something so special. The hosts were such lovely people, gracious and attentive. We really look forward to our next stay there.
We had a lovely night here in a cosy rammed earth cottage with the most comfortable bed we had slept in on our holiday! The cottage was inviting from the moment you walked in and was suitable for either a couple or a family. A nice outdoor area and BBQ just added nicely to the facilities. Beth is a gracious and helpful host and we enjoyed wandering in the gardens admiring the wonderful collection she has put together of historical artifacts. We are so pleased that we stayed here on our way back to Perth.
