Quick Positives: - Excellent Design - Excellent Service - Delicious Food Menu - Comfortable Rooms & Immaculate - Good restaurant views - Center of Stone Town Activities Quick drawback: - While being at center of town is good it also does not have the best beaches. But this is well mitigated with superb Park Hyatt design and ambiance
After a successful climb of Kilimanjaro, I was seeking a place to recover and relax. The Park Hyatt Zanzibar was perfect. Everyone, from the first person I met to the last person I saw, had an eye out for great service. Everyone really made the effort to make my stay as enjoyable as possible and attend to anything that I might need. Upon check-in, Antonin showed me the property, provided me his WhatsApp number and followed-up several times to ensure my stay was a good one. A special shout-out to Lincoln, who helped me arrange for the laundry of my many soiled items from the Kili climb...and they were returned perfectly clean/dry in less than a few hours. Extraordinary service. The breakfast buffet was delightful, with many offerings. The Living Room was perfect for a cold beer while doing a bit of work. The sister property (The Beach House) was a wonderful change for a great dinner, with the mixed seafood grill being quite tasty with an array of Zanzibar-based flavors and sauces. A++ all the way around. Thanks for a perfect site to recover and feel special and well taken care of.…
My wife and I stayed at the Park Hyatt Zanzibar prior to going to another resort on the East side of the island. This was a perfect place to stay to see Stonetown and experience the local culture. The property itself is very nice and feels like a Park Hyatt should - luxurious and unique. The pool area is amazing to watch sunsets since this property is located on the West side of the island. Don't skip on the breakfast at the Park Hyatt - its excellent! I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to see Stonetown and definitely suggest doing at least one night here before you go to another resort in Zanzibar. I'd also like to give a special shoutout to Fauzi and Farah at the front desk. They were incredibly helpful when we needed to work through an issue. They made our stay that much better. Thanks so much!…
We had the pleasure of staying at Park Hyatt Zanzibar for two nights with our 11 months old son and the three of us enjoyed the experience so much. The rooms are very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated and the sea view is magnificent. The hotel is also very well located to visit Stone Town by foot. All members of the staff that we met were very friendly, kind and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to visit Stone Town, and it was also by far the best hotel we stayed at in Zanzibar.
Very lovely hotel, a lot of it is newly renovated to best of standards. Breakfast food variety and quality has been fantastic . Staff is good too- so friendly with giving us many umbrellas ( it has been raining), staff even asked us if we need help in unpacking - packing of suitcases they shall help! We were charged for an extra bed on top of the high coat of our two rooms - a bed which we eventually didn’t use - but that’s ok. I feel it’s the best hotel in Zanzibar .
