We spent a lovely weekend to celebrate our anniversary. When we mentioned this to the from desk manager, we were upgraded to a suite. It turns out we were in the room across from the one we stayed in on our honeymoon. We enjoyed the beautiful porch especially. The bathroom could use some updating, otherwise the hotel is beautiful. It's too bad the restaurant was closed. They do offer food and drink for sale in the hotel store. There is plenty of parking. Our room was quiet. The person in housekeeping on our floor was particularly pleasant and helpful.

My wife and I recently went for a three night stay to see the colors of autumn. The colors and the location of the hotel did not disappoint. HOWEVER, the hotel was a major let down. We stayed in an enclosed porch room at a cost of nearly $400 per night. The hotel room was run down. Our enclosed porch had a cracked window, there was peeling paint, dirty carpeting, missing window locks, and a noisy antiquated heating system that was uneven and very noisy. We cut our trip short because we didn't want to spend another night sleeping there.

We were welcomed by an empty lobby. Stood around 10 minutes until my friend went looking for someone. The desk clerk was in an office... Restaurant, Bar closed. We didn't know this upfront. There was nothing welcoming at all.

First time staying. Room 514. Been killing stink bugs all night. Front desk says ‘ we are in a State Park, it’s to be expected’. AC is ceiling flush mount ‘old school’ mini split - NOT WORKING. CARPETS dirty, stained..... As a lifetime Marriott Platinum Member have never seen this before. Ugh

We were supposed to get married last Saturday but COVID prevented my fiancé’s only sibling from flying up from Miami. We then decided to go on a special trip on our weekend. After a 4 hour drive, we were welcomed with a smile. The location is in the middle of an amazing park. We took a mineral bath, visited the museums, went hiking and biking. Room was very nice. The dining room was closed due to COVID. We were provided a list of restaurants that offered delivery and take out. We found breakfast sandwiches at Catherine’s next door. It would have nice if a breakfast sandwich was available instead of a lunch sandwich. We are definitely planning on visiting back as soon as possible.
