We have been staying here for the last four years when visiting my daughter at Crane. Outstanding service. The staff is always friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast staff always has a smile. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Perfect location for all college visits. Breakfast included. Area in back with a fire pit to hang out on nice nights. Highly recommend!

We were fortunate to check in early after we arrived earlier than planned. Check in was smooth and welcoming. The elevator was clean as all hallways. On the door outside our room was a decal certificate of cleanliness and sanitation. Upon unlocking the door and breaking the decal seal, the room was clean and smelled fresh. Each lamp base had individually wrapped sanitary wipes for us to choose to also wipe off as well, including the tv remote, plus the in-room microwave oven and refrigerator. Our sleep was sound thanks to the heavy door, comforting a/c and the window darkening shades. WE DID NOT use the pool or use the hallway ice machine although both were functioning as we saw other guests using them. THIS IS NOT a paid testimonial. This is a descriptive testimonial by a customer who was at this location on Potsdam Saturday, September 4 through Sunday, September 5 2021 for PorchFest ‘21.

The hotel may be 7 years old, but you’d never know it unless you asked. It literally looks brand new!! The rooms are beautiful and super quiet! I never heard anyone and the hotel was usually packed! The gym was super clean and had everything I needed. There is laundry services on site, $1.00/washer and $1.00/dryer.

With a hectic schedule of events in May in the North Country, we reserved our stay at the Hampton Inn a year in advance for college graduation weekend.
With a full house of guests, the General Manager, Paul, Office Manager, Kathy, and Jami in Executive Housekeeping worked tirelessly with their staff to graciously accommodate the needs of all and ensure a positive and memorable experience.
Check-in and check-out was prompt and efficient, rooms were clean and fresh with various toiletries, and a complimentary breakfast of freshly stocked items was well-prepared and a great way to begin each day.
Although our "college years" in Potsdam have come to an end, we will highly recommend the Hampton Inn, Potsdam to all who follow.

Returned to Potsdam for a recent business trip. The Hampton was clean, modern and comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient at the front desk. The room was well appointed and comfortable with plenty of space as well as a microwave and refrigerator. The EV charging station in the parking lot is a great addition and makes this location my preferred spot whenever I am in Potsdam.

Really nice hotel and nice rooms. Rooms were sealed with tape on the door to show no one had been in them. Nice front desk staff also. Hot breakfast available and was good. Amenities are open such as the pool and the workout area.

Just needed a change of pace.. friendly staff, easy to find location..free and plentiful parking off street..Our room was nice and warm..clean and fresh..decent size room. Two chairs to relax ..a bench to either set suitcase ..plus a fold out stool for suitcase ..t.v was set on a set of drawers ..that also held a small microwave and fridge..plenty of lighting g with device charge stations..free breakfast ..in the a.m..6-10....a nice pool .open from 8 a.m. -10p.m...a work out room..a small convenience store ..Our king sized bed was wonderful..the staff were great helped the customers clean out their vehicles from the snow..

This is a nice hotel that is functional, comfortable and clean. It is on the side of a semi-industrial road, so no charming surrounding, but there are nice grocery store and fast food restaurants in walking distance. Downtown with nicer restaurants and shopping is just few minutes away, hospital is a 2 min drive, etc. Service was friendly and efficient, breakfast included decent hot meal that even varies from day to day. Room was very clean and comfortable: from bed to carpet, bathroom, etc.

I usually stay for work and we r allotted only certain types of rooms. Mine were always one room, one bed. However the staff were so great there I'm sure they would be kind and answer any questions without annoyance if you called.
We have rooms with 2 queen beds and Single Kings with a pull out sofa. Give us a call and let us make sure you get the room preference that works best for you. 315-265-0100.
