A fantastic hotel and one of the nicest well set out hotels I have ever stayed in ! Unfortunately I found the staff under trained and although very friendly I have had much better ! I was ill with the food for two days in the Magellan restaurant and I did let them know but only got a cursory “ I’m sorry about that “! I booked a massage for my wife and I and once again they messed the timings up and on check out day they offered a 20 % discount for the massages . All in all a beautifully set out hotel , no trouble with sun beds and a room to die for ! Unfortunately I came home feeling more stressed than before we went !
Clean, friendly, comfortable, accessible and more sustainable. I did sneak next door to Robinson’s but was disappointed. They used too many plastic straws in my drink and were disorganised. Breakfast was perfect at Hilton and all their restaurants are great. That seafood grill is amazing. Kudos to that hard-working chef. Just 1 recommendation to guests...if you want to sleep in, put up the do not disturb sign. Housekeeping comes early. Otherwise, thanks Hilton. I made the right choice staying there.
We stayed in room 2031, King pool view and it was really nice, in fact we think it is one of the nicest rooms we ever stayed in during our worldly travels (only lacking dressing robes to make it perfect). The bed was soooo comfy with a memory foam top. The bathroom lovely and included a bath, but we were happy with the shower. Nice toiletries, air-con' was fine (on max'), decor very tasteful (as it was throughout the whole hotel public areas), plenty of TV channels in English. The housekeeping staff came round early evening to offer toiletry refills, which was a nice touch. We had booked directly on the breakfast deal and were impressed by the variety and quality. We found the prices a little steep for other meals and drinks, but the main town is only a 15 minute walk along the beach front and a €3 taxi ride back. The beach in front of the hotel was the nicest section of shoreline we saw along from the town, but the sea was too rough to swim in when we were there. The hotel pool is very large, but like other hotels here on the island it was nippy to swim in during March and only a few brave souls made use of it. There were plenty of comfortable loungers and umbrellas by both the pool and the beach. The pool towels are large and fluffy and are issued against cards issued during check-in. The hotel appeared about a third full when we were there. The gym was above average and fitness classes were available. The grounds are full of mature trees, lawns and bushes which are well manicured. The receptionist was very helpful and arranged a later checkout to fit better with our flight home. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Sal.…
This is an ultra modern hotel. Rooms are great. We had a suite overlooking the very large pool. Big fluffy towels, separate toilet and bathroom. Lovely balcony - although it was quite windy whilst we were there so we didn't use it that much. Loads of loungers near the pool. 10-15 minute walk into pretty Santa Maria.Lots of bars and restaurants (super clean), so B&B at hotel was perfect. Hotel restaurant (The Bounty) on the beach was also excellent. Lots of fresh fish. Not cheap, so definitely a treat. Try after dinner G&Ts at El Cize bar in the hotel. Fabulous singers at the bar each evening. 8:30-10:30, so the hotel is very quiet after that time. All in all great, relaxing stay to recharge our batteries.
Great hotel and location, room great with ocean view, spotlessly cleaned each day with some nice touches left for us, reception staff very helpful and knowledgeable, breakfast very good and good service, the beach bar is great and the sunbeds on the beach are not to be missed, just watch the world go by and enjoy the golden beach and clear blue sea. The only slight downside for us was the service in the Cize Bar, we found them rude (with the exception of the younger member of staff, didn't get his name) especially after the entertainment finished at 10.30pm when an obsession with cashing up took over, similar issue with the pool bar although the staff are much friendlier there, but again there is an obsession with the till, there would be 3 or 4 staff gathered around the till whilst customers were waiting to be served and this happened numerous times but not something that cannot be sorted quickly with better training and attitudes. …
