The hotel is 2 stops from Manhattan, 9 Dutch kills subway stop right next to it, clean, helpful staff, free breakfast and spacious rooms. Designated outside smoking areas a plus on a smoke free city. We would definitely stay there again

Needed to stay here for a few days while my water damaged apartment was being renovated. And any place that let’s me take my dog with me gets 5 stars in my book. Thank you for being a pet-friendly hotel🙏 That said the hotel is awesome! ♦️PROS: 💥big room with microwave, dishwasher and full sized refrigerator 💥staff was super friendly and polite. Francis at the front desk was super helpful and always pleasant 💥Rooms are super CLEAN and well kept. 💥Super quiet. Especially at night. Great to get work done or just unwind. 💥Air Conditioning is 100% on point. Was able to keep my room ice cold for me and my pooch during this summer heatwave 💥Great shower with plenty of hot water 💥The free breakfast was pretty decent: cereal, coffee, make your own waffles, frozen breakfast sandwiches (you just need to heat it em’ up in the microwave) - but there’s a bodega down the street, so you can always get your bacon egg and cheese fix there. 💥Decent gym. cable system, treadmills, ellipticals, bench, and dumbbells up to 50lbs. You can definitely get a decent workout with the equipment they have. 💥Location is great. Less than 1 block from the subway 💥The view is spectacular (if you decide to get a room with city view, I have to say, it’s worth it - see pics ) ♦️CONS: 💥If you have a car, trying to find parking anywhere near the hotel is a nightmare. You might be able to find parking way down on 39th Ave, but if you’re driving, expect to be hunting for while for a parking spot. Make sure you triple check you have a legit spot because the traffic cops love giving tickets in this area. 💥There are some restaurants nearby but not a ton. So chances are you’re gonna be ordering out a lot while you’re here. 💥The bed seemed a little on the small side but maybe I’m just fat from quarantine ================= But overall, great hotel! And an absolute must if you have a dog / pet, It was a great place to call home for a week for me, my wife and our pooch - all while our water damaged apartment was being fixed and renovated. Very clean and modern hotel. Smack dab in the middle of an ever changing LIC. Rooms were nice and clean, very friendly staff. Very nice breakfast offered as well.This hotel is very accessible and within walking distance of restaurants and trains.

Family of 5 (including 3 teenagers) staying in a double queen room with fold down bed. Room was plenty big enough, comfortable and clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful, which is very useful before a day of sight seeing! Location felt safe and was very handy for the Subway, literally 2 minutes away and then only 2 stops (5 minutes) to Manhattan. Would absolutely recommend.

I stay at this hotel every time I come to NY. The hotel is conveniently located, very clean and tons of amenities. But I choose this hotel because of the staff. They truly make me feel special. But I notice they treat every guest like that. I’d especially like to thank Francis at the front desk for always making sure my stay is perfect! I also want to give a shout out to the other’s at the front desk, Chris, Enzo, Brian, Zahid and Marlon. All of them do a great job greeting and assisting all the guests. Jessica the front desk manager and Vanja the General manager are doing a terrific job to keep such an amazing staff with very little turn over. There are many hotels in the area but if you’re looking for a large, clean room with tons of amenities and an amazing staff, Home 2 Suites in Long Island City is the place to stay!…

Really good location. Perfectly communicated with Manhattan by Metro. Metro station at 2 mins walking, and supermarkets and restaurants nearby (5-10 mins walk). Clean rooms and facilities, and cosy rooms. As a single downside, breakfast space was crowded (some people need to wait), and there were not many choices

Love this hotel. Situated at great place as close to metro station. Everything is nearby by train. Staffs are great. Good sized room equipped with brief kitchen and stuffs. There is a complementary breakfast, but timing is not great. Hotel is very clean.

The hotel is a walking distance to the train station. The rooms are clean and they have ample parking if you bring your vehicle with you for a fee. The side streets parking can be busy at times but you can find a spot with couple of tries going around the area. The area is pretty much safe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to take train going to Times Square since it’s not that far of a travel.

Overall this is a very well cared for and clean hotel. The staff were all fantastic, accommodating and offered great info and recommendations! The rooms were very clean, as well as the common areas. They do have a Peloton in the gym - with cages! Location is awesome if you plan to take the subway, train station is steps away. There was a very nice view on the 9th floor and the room was surprisingly quiet. Downsides - nothing is nearby. There is nothing to do nearby and really no food to walk to. The breakfast was the same every. single. morning. We stayed 7 days so that got really old. The bathrooms are tiny and have a pocket door that doesn’t fully close or latch. Keep in mind if privacy is a concern!
