I booked room from La Quinta. I drop my stuff to the room and go out. When I'll come back to hotel, employee didn't like my parking and he blocked my key without notice me. When I tried enter room my key couldn't open the door. I went back down to reception. He said I kicked out you from hotel. I said I want take my bags from room, he refuse it. And said me "I don't care anything, you can do whatever you want." I called Police and after Police come they picked up my bags from room. I never seen this type of thing. I never seen hotel employee easily trying stole my stuff. I take all my stuff back after police come, But I waist 2 hours at 2am night time. And Hotel refused refund my money. It's looking like they can do whatever they want and they don't care anything.
Toilet didn’t work, maids never came, mattress was exposed, lights weren’t working, internet wasnt working, no hot water. Requested toilets to be fixed, it was never fixed. We had constant toilet issues for 3 days and 3 nights.
Hotel was extremely full of garbage, outside and inside. Staff was super rude. No towels and extra soap provided. Elevators were not working. Had a person on a wheelchair in my party and this place is NOT wheelchair accessible. Room was dirty, full of dust in the carpets and moist in the walls and the roof. Furniture in the room was old, damaged, broken and had missing pieces. No coffee maker. There was a heavy smoke smell in the entire facility, in the room and outside the room. I would like a refund.
Worst la quinta property I've ever stayed at. I called before arriving to notify that i would be a late check in. The desk extension goes straight to a full voicemail and disconnects. Corporate customer service verified that they could not get through either. Arrived at night and struggled to find the place because the lights for the exterior signs were off. Upon entering, recognized that the automatic doors do not work and they leave them open 24/7. Was told my rooms jet tub was turned off because of COVID-19, but arrived to find that there was a physical hole in it. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, there were no hooks in the bathroom. The rooms window (a low 2nd story room) would not close far enough to latch. It was functional, but far from pleasurable.
Pros... available parking, not always at the same limited hotel parking (14 parking spaces, first come first serve) but lots of space at the street. Cons... real filthy old stained carpet, roaches present even inside the mini refrigerator, old bed sheets and covers, TV cable doesn't work, rooms are very small and narrow.
