I will preface this by saying I have never written a negative review. I'm fairly easy-going and have stayed in all manner of places over the years. Typically, I know what I am getting. We stayed at the Ravel because a block of rooms was reserved by the bride and groom whose wedding we were attending at a nearby venue. We arrived Friday, September 3, and were given a room on the 8th floor that overlooked a pool that we were told we were not allowed to use. No problem there. It was clear they were setting up for a party/dance club event which began in the late afternoon and was over by the time we returned to the hotel at 11:30 pm. On Saturday, the pool event began in the afternoon. We thought the concept of the "darty" was great and enjoyed watching the event from our balcony. When we returned to the hotel that night, however, the party was raging. It was unbearably loud in the room and sleep was impossible, but we were very understanding of this and thought it would have to end at any minute, certainly by 1am. The music and noise continued past 1am, and 2am, and didn't end until 3am. I felt bad for the hotel staff. There was really nothing they could do and they were left on their own without a manager to field countless calls. The next morning at check out, there was still no manager. I was given the business cards of the assistant general manager and the general manager, Klesto Pellumbi, for whom I left about three or four unreturned messages once he returned to the property the following Tuesday. None were answered. The Ravel has a choice to operate as an outdoor dance club OR a hotel. It can not be both. If they want to hold the parties, then they need to block off those rooms with balconies adjacent to the pool. The hotel was fully booked and our friends who had rooms in other parts of the property were not impacted so drastically. The manager demonstrated complete unprofessionalism. A simple phone call of apology or explanation would have gone a long way to assuage my anger over the situation. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL unless you are going to the club and can party all night long. .

We stayed here for a wedding as a part of the wedding block. While I appreciated the prioritization in getting a clean room, the room we were put into had completely uneven flooring throughout the room and bathroom. For those who watch How I Met Your Mother, remember the episode were Marshall and Lilly realize their apartment is slanted? It was like that, but we had hills and valleys instead. We weren't warned of construction/maintenance that occurred the first morning of our stay, but at least it was only for that morning. The bride and groom, who were staying in the Penthouse, were also not warned of a nighttime party occurring the night before their wedding. Staff is adequate, but advising guests of these inconveniences would have provided a better experience. The last thing you want is to wake up early to loud banging when you came in on a red eye.

Would not recommend this hotel at all. Photos look good but location noisy, awful/shady, rooms are dirty with terrible patch up jobs on walls, furniture had not been dusted, sheets were rough, scuff marks on walls..... the elevator and our floor smelled of weed the whole time. The shower needs a good clean, the tv did not work and other residents were constantly slamming doors and moving furntiure all night !! Don’t be fooled by the photos.

The overall quality of the experience was poor. The pictures on the hotel website greatly overstated the quality of the hotel and were, in general, misleading. I would not stay at the hotel nor would I recommend to anyone to stay at the property.
