Rosehaven Inn is in a great location with an incredible view. The common areas are very nice and our bedroom was simply great. Clean, well-decorated, and very quiet. Our host, Kelly, was very friendly and informative. The breakfast was excellent. Kaaterskill Falls, one of the most breathtaking views anywhere in the world, is literally five minutes from Rosehaven. We plan on returning to the area at some point in the future and when we do, we will definitely plan on staying here again. What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast!
Stayed two nights for husband’s birthday. Everything was just perfect!!! The B&B is beautifully decorated and the host is extremely friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be back when in the area.
Rosehaven was a perfect choice for celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was our first trip to the Hunter Mountain area which has beautiful views. The inn was easy to locate using the innkeepers' directions on their website and free parking was available. We stayed in Room 1 which looked out over the front of the inn. It was more than enough room for the two of us. The room is beautifully furnished, extremely clean, has very comfortable bedding, a love seat in front of a fireplace (we must come back in a cooler season to enjoy it!), and great A/C which kept us comfortably cool. We really liked the small stain glass window in our room. The morning light and colors reflected were beautiful. Take a walk around the wrap around porch or pick a cozy spot to listen to the wind…
This place is simply amazing ! The room was impeccably clean, with fresh bedding and cold AC. The Mountain Views are spectacular from the room and the property ! We stayed in room 3 which offered a Mountain View from the jacuzzi in the bathroom. Kelly is a wonderful host. Her husband Sean is also very nice and attentive when around. She makes a delicious breakfast and knows the area! She is great with directions and suggestions. The property itself offers private parking, a small walk that leads to ponds and a creek, antique like furnishing and comfortable porch furniture ! Ophelia their cat is beautiful and a sweet girl. I’d highly reccomend staying here, not only is it a sweet escape but you feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable the entire stay. Kaaterskill Falls, north south…
We stayed at Rosehaven for three nights in February. It was a delight! The host and hostess were welcoming and a font of information about the area. The hostess truly engaged us with her adventurous spirit and joy in restoring this beautiful home. The location as well as the decor is stunning. We enjoyed the fireplace, whirlpool tub, and refrigerator in our room. We were welcome to use the bar room as well as the sitting room and yes, there is that wrap-a-round porch...we hope to visit again in the summer or fall and make use of that! The breakfast rates five stars as well. And I went home with the recipe for ginger-lemon scones! A perfect getaway!
Had a lovely trip for a weekend away from the city and Rosehaven Inn was the highlight! Stayed in room 2 that had a working fireplace and a terrace that looked out. The owners are lovely and the breakfast they make every day is delicious and wholesome!
Kelly & Sean, the couple that run the Rosehaven are FANTASTIC hosts. Rooms are spotless & breakfast is terrific. Fun common area with fireplace to enjoy some wine & cheese. Great hiking nearby, they helped out with planning. Highly recommend this B&B.
Have to say that this place was amazing to stay at. It's such a warm and welcoming place to stay. From the gourmet breakfast that's included to the charming decor, this bed and breakfast should be on everyone's list to stay at during a trip to Kaaterskill. Both owners, Kelly and Sean made our trip even better then planned and were very knowledgeable with their recommendations for hiking and where to eat. I would highly recommend this place and I definitely plan on making a trip back there as many times as I can. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant.
Step into an authentic, perfectly restored Victorian mansion, built in the late 1800s but now with every modern amenity tucked into period surroundings. Our stay was idyllic, thanks to Kelly a lovely, kind Inn Keeper who offers just the right amount of homey friendliness and guest privacy. Fabulous, delicious breakfasts. Large bathrooms with large spa tubs. The whole place is impeccably clean. Convenient working fireplaces in every room. Excellent bed and bedding! Common areas so inviting, warm and cozy. We’ll be back!
My husband planned a surprise getaway for us for my birthday in July, but ended up having to tell me about it right before we travelled because we needed to sign up for zip-lining at Hunter Mountain. So I saw the photos of Rosehaven online and when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the rooms were just as nice, if not nicer than pictured. The house is beautifully remodeled and decorated, and Kelly and Sean have paid attention to the most minute detail. We absolutely loved our stay (and went back about 4 weeks later for another stay and will be visiting again this fall!). The rooms are comfortable and very clean (we stayed in Room 2 and Room 3), the breakfast is amazing (Kelly is an excellent cook), and the surroundings are very relaxing. We went hiking and…
