My husband and I booked two nights at this beautiful B&B and had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Kelly is a great hostess and an amazing cook. Best scone I ever had. The shared space was inviting and nostalgic of a classier time. Our room and private bath was meticulously clean and quiet. The innkeeper’s attention to detail and thoughtfulness is obvious throughout the inn. A must stay if you’re in the area.
We stayed at Rosehaven for a long weekend. The house is perfectly situated between the quaint downtown area in Haines Falls and the iconic hiking trails in Kaatershill Falls. Sean and Kelly keep the place squeaky clean and make fantastic food to get you moving. They are hikers as well and gave us great advice to find the best nearby trail destinations. We had a fun, relaxing weekend checking out the small downtown area and sampling some of the local restaurants. We plan on returning...maybe next time with friends to share the experience.
Wish we had planned more than 2 nights at the Rosehaven. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Cozy - Super Clean - Friendly Host - Beautiful Setting - And the BEST SCONES EVER!!! This place is even better than the pics on the website. Kelly struck the perfect balance between being a helpful host and giving us our space. If it’s not obvious, I highly recommend this place!
Sean and Kelly are fantastic hosts - gracious and personable. They made us feel like family in their beautiful home. Breakfasts made by Kelly were unbelievably delicious - she is a great cook. They took care of all our needs. If you visit the Catskills don’t miss this place.
Rosehaven is a beautiful house with great views of the mountains. Room 2 has a balcony where you can view the stars. Kaaterskill falls is 5 mins away for an awesome hike. Kelly is a marvelous hostess who gave us hiking tips and led us to a lesser known waterfall that we had to ourselves. And breakfast was delicious!
We stayed there for three nights. The inn keepers were wonderful-Kelly and Shawn. Very hospitable . The place was very clean. Kelly is a great cook. I would stay there anytime if I go back to Hunter Mountain
This was my second weekend staying at the Rosehaven and I love it more every time I go back....it is just the most charming bed & breakfast! The rooms are just lovely and very comfortable....Kelly is a wonderful hostess and is so welcoming! Her breakfast is delicious and I always enjoy sitting out on the porch with my book and a hot cup of coffee to just relax. It is like time stands still! The surrounding area is just lovely, especially the kaaterskill falls....love hiking the trail! My daughter and I discovered Saugerties Lighthouse this trip and had a beautiful picnic at Devil's Path....so much to see and do in the area! Already looking forward to my next stay!
My husband and I were traveling to Pennsylvania from Cape Cod in our 356 Speedster to a car show. We hoped that our first stop, after an 8 hour back road ride with no heat on a drizzly cold day, could be the Rosehaven Inn. We did not make reservations, as we were unsure we would make it there. We pulled in, tired and cold, and Kelly greeted us. My husband said "Please tell us we can stay here" and Kelly was so nice to let us stay! She gave us a warm cozy room with a fireplace next to our bed. What a beautiful gem this Inn is. The room was so cozy, and the bed was so comfortable. Kelly makes an excellent breakfast! We loved this place so much, we had to come back and stay again on our way home to the Cape a week later. We highly recommend the Rosehaven Inn, and can't wait to…
My wife and I can for our babymoon after finding the inn on a babymoon site. I spoke to Kelly after and she said she wasn’t sure how she got on that list and didn’t have any babymoon packages, but it was exactly what we needed. The house is beautiful, the breakfast was delicious (and the dining room has an excellent view), and the location is perfect for exploring Tannersville and the Catskills. I was able to run to the Kaaterskill Falls viewing platform on the rail trail both mornings before breakfast; it is just under 5 miles round trip. I would highly recommend this place for couples looking for a quiet getaway.
First trip to Hunter Mountain was made even more terrific with Rosehaven Inn. The room was cozy, the whole house has great aristocratic style. And the host made our days staying there. Yes we do recommend this place.
