Welcome to the brand new Candlewood Suites on Fort Drum! Our 99 suites all feature kitchenettes with stovetops, microwaves, dishwashers and full size refrigerators. Fully equipped kitchens with dishes, pots and pans and more. Be sure to check out our grills in the gazebo as well. The Candlewood Lending Library holds many other items you would use at home like Crock Pots, juicers and game boards. The Candlewood Cupboard offers chips, frozen entrees, ice cream, snacks, drinks and more. Visit our business center in the Great Room to print a boarding pass or check out email. Our complimentary hot breakfast is served daily with a welcoming hostess. A weekly social is also held on Wednesdays. Stop by or check your in room calendar for a menu. We stayed at Candlewood at Fort Drum and were so impressed with the consistent cleanliness and amenities of the hotel. Staff really made us feel welcome, especially Jackie and Amber. The hotel was not only dog friendly, but truly welcoming to our lab. The dog park was kept nice and, despite dogs in the hotel, the hotel was always clean and fresh smelling - no hair, smell, or stains. Staff was also very warm and welcoming to our pup and made her stay as enjoyable as possible!

Arrived between 430pm, & 5pm. Absolutely freezing outside so the warm, clean and cozy lobby was an extremely nice entrance to walk into. The rooms were VERY nice and very well accommodated. Clean, quiet and would recommend to anyone! Very friendly staff, and incredible room amenities!

This place was a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and clean, well laid out to have a bedroom separate from the living room, each room with their own thermostat, Pull out couch, fully stocked kitchen, full size fridge, extra shelving and hooks to place and hang personal items, a fenced dog park, an outside grill/fireplace area with 4 gas grills and close to a walking trail. The staff was so helpful and friendly and the breakfast was yummy…even served Canadian bacon! My husband and I travel A LOT and this was one of our best experiences!

We had 30 guests staying at this Candlewood Suites hotel on Ft Drum for our daughters wedding at the Commons. DO NOT MISTAKE this hotel for the one outside of base gates close to Walmart.
Candlewood FT DRUM
is quiet and beautifully decorated. The hotel was only built in 2018 so everything is new. The beds are comfortable, the kitchens are stocked with everything you could possibly need, large size refrigerators , microwaves, stove tops. Big flat screen TVs. There are communal areas for families to hang out in too. (My boys watched football instead of getting ready for the wedding)
Some of our guests arrived from out of town on the Friday prior to the wedding. The staff went out of their way to accommodate them by getting them into their rooms earlier than the 4pm check in. They put the guests gift bags into every room. We had a welcome bbq at the back of the hotel where they have large gas grills and a fireplace.
Our guests had only praise for the hearty hot breakfast, the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel and how affordable it was. The management arranged a shuttle to drive our hotel guests between the venue and the hotel. There is absolutely nothing that I can criticize. bravo Christy and team. Our 30 plus guests are raving about your 5 star hotel.
